1  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / my very own BR hat knockoffs... on: October 04, 2007 05:09:39 PM
Thanks so much to metaphysical_muse for the pattern!  Grin

This is the first one I made - Lion Brand Wool-Ease in Lumberjack Red.  I followed the pattern exactly, but I used 10s instead of 8s...and I guess my head is too tall, it ended up a little shorter than I would have liked (but still so cute!)

So after I made that one, I decided to use up the remains of my Moda Dea Tweedle Dee (Surf & Turf) and make another one...this time I added a few rows extra, and it's a little longer  Cheesy

2  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / My first non-scarf project...oh wait, it's sort of a scarf! on: October 01, 2007 02:49:17 PM
I should have used a circular needle, the bonnet part was a huge pain on straight needles  Roll Eyes  I used Moda Dea Tweedle Dee yarn in Surf & Turf - the pattern is from Knit 2 Together by Tracey Ullman and Mel Clark  Smiley

It's the coziest thing ever...too bad it's still hot here  Roll Eyes
