14  An Altoid Fairy Queen in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by wonderwoman1976 on: September 17, 2010 04:25:34 PM
I made this for a swap. Her name is Hera. She's a fairy. A NYC fairy, to be exact. I only know this, because the back of her is covered up with a Metrocard (it's what you use here to get on the subway).
I had to cover up all the gluey parts on the back.

and the inside. That's the Altoid part. I used mismatched earrings and things to decorate it, as well as Fantasy fiber there on the back.
I added the buddha, even tho I don't know how my partner feels about it. Really, I couldn't help myself.

And her head. The feathers are from my jewelry supply stash. Actually, it's from a junk swap on swap-bot. I swear, those are the best swaps!

Well, what do you think?

Details of swap:

I LOVE LOVE LOVE wearing and making jewelry, don't you? So then, I got to thinking...why not have a jewelry swap?
We'll have one partner, and make a "lot" of 10 jewelry pieces for our partner, along with a pretty container to put it in! Get a wooden box and decorate it to your partner's liking, thus making a little "trunk" for the handmade jewelry!
And to inspire our partner to keep it going, buy your partner a bag of beads or something! Buy your partner some sort of supply that they use a lot of, and that doesn't cost you too much! No more than $10 though, so you don't go broke! You just want to replenish their stash with something they'll tell you they need!

As far as jewelry is concerned, what you make will be according to your partners wishes! It could be all earrings, or a mix of things!
Fun, right?
Stock up on your jewelry with this fun swap!
Remember: swaps are meant to be fun and lighthearted. Please do not sign up if you foresee complications in the future. It's not fun to have flakes in a swap, so don't be a naughty swapper.

18  An Altered Cereal Box Journey Book in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by wonderwoman1976 on: April 21, 2010 06:01:41 PM

A Book I made. I ran out of chipboard, so I ended up using cereal boxes half way through. This book encases my "journey" through life, thus the word on the front.
The Paper doll is made by me of course. It's supposed to be a fairy.
I blogged about it, but the pictures are crappy on the post, so ohwell.

20  Cardboard Boxes in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by wonderwoman1976 on: January 01, 2010 08:55:48 AM
I love to recycle. I buy alot of my art supplies online, so I end up with a lot of cardboard boxes.
I make them into book covers for books that I love to make.
Cool right?
Also, I save my daughter's shoeboxes, jewelry boxes, and assorted cardboard boxes to make shrines and shadow boxes with them.

I think I've posted this one before, but this box is made from my daughters shoe box.

Here's a book I made with cardboard boxes as the cover! Cool, eh?
