1  Re: DIY Kit Swap Round 10 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by Pinky Damone on: July 07, 2008 06:07:14 PM
I received from Holliewood and I'm sooooooo excited! Here's the goods! (Forgive my crummy fuzzy pictures..my camera is on its way to be with Jesus..that's what happens when you never keep it in a case..kids..don't try that at home. Undecided)

Tons of Sculpey III clay, a clay rolling pin, other clay tools, and a shatterproof ruler! Which is good..because I'm a bit clumsy!

A folder with instructions, projects, and even paper that lets you print things onto the clay! I didn't even know that they made that stuff!!! and she knows I adore fashion and shoes so she included two art prints. Which I will be hanging up in the fashion museum. <--That's the nickname for my closet!

SHe mad e a cake charm for me and a bracelet full of poly clay goodies!!! There's even an ice cream sandwich and a bompop! HOW AWESOME! Those two charms are my favorites.

okay...and here's the best part..wait for it...are you ready?...wait for it..

A PASTA MACHINE DUDE! I was too cheap and lazy to get myself one of those!!! lol. WHen we were Imng..she asked did I have a toaster oven! So part of me thought she might send one..lol. But that would have been too much..But honestly I never in a million years thought she'd send a PASTA MACHINE!

How amped am I ?!?!

2  Super cute painted glass plates in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by Pinky Damone on: May 22, 2008 08:44:32 PM
I made these for my swap partner. She has a beautiful addiction to cameras. These were super easy and now everyone wants a set with different designs! I'd like to add that you can totally use them to put your cheesecake and cookies on..and you can WASH them! I wish it was all my idea, but it's not. They're still awesome though! So...like to see em? Here they go...

3  Re: Giant Multi-Theme Swap Gallery in The Swap Gallery by Pinky Damone on: May 06, 2008 04:24:38 PM
I'm still giddy over everthing! Even my mom came by and said it totally rocked! the purse is by far my favorite. No wait, I don't have a favorite i love all 875043975039 of my items the same. Okay..sorry for the picture overload...but there's TONS of stuff! It's like Christmas in my bedroom! (My boyfriend says I must put it with the other displayed crafts..and it can't stay sprawled over the couch, or table, or bed) Killjoy...so what if I wanna keep spreading it out everywhere!

First off..the outside totally rocks. There were stickers and awesome sayings..so cute compared to regular old boxes! This was my first overseas swap...and I was amazed that you have to write what's in the box!

When I first opened the package..so tidy!

Cool kawaii stuff, a handgab danglee..or you could put it anywhere. A polymer clay toast necklace. MY FAV is the jar full of sprinkles..they're EARRINGS DUDE! And notice the little shrinky dink earrings!

Okay..let me get on my KNEES and thank cupcakeaccessories! My name is 7 letters long. NiRosha (rhymes with Natasha) And its not like you find my name on keychains or anything! Now I have a BAG with my name on it. It's got pink tulle, scrabble tiles, and even a little dollie on the bottom! With a velcro closure and a chain strap! .. and all sorts of cool kawaii stuff in it..and when I opened it..more goodies!

A hello Kitty coin purse, complete with HK zipper pull, HK hair clips, ANOTHER keychain with HK and MY NAME AGAIN! I told ya...Christmas! More HK pulls/cell charms, and HK stuffies.

the keychain..although blurry from my flash and excitement, deserves a closeup!

Cupcake goods! A hello kitty cupcake, a cupcake pincushion, that's beeaauuuttiiful..and I little origami kitty. Yeah..that helongs somewhere else..but *shrug* and a beautiful 3 piece poly clay cupcake set.

And tons of stickers..they were everywhere with everything! I heart stickers!
And cool pins she made!

And this...is too crafty for words! I have a Sanrio/Kawaii game..that I beleive she made..it's got game pieces and everything guys! Cupcake, the next time you're in the states...feel free to come play! ( the package of game cards, pieces, etc is laying on the board)

More kawaii goodness! this is a handmade journal, and it's got all kinds of paper, etc...remnants being used as the paper..it's awesome..here are a couple of my favorite pages. Audrey (I don't know how she knew I loooove Audrey) An actual piece of a pattern! And a picture from the pattern.

Okay..for the pinup goodness...One of a kind pin up girl stationary cards. The pictures are stitched on..and they're embelished..amazing.

A pinup necklace. It says Princess..again..pardon  the camera skills. And the chain is a PEARL chain! I don't know how she knew it..but I love anything with pearls. It's a staple of my sorority! Pretty girls wear 20 pearls!

And candy from overseas! how awesome

I can't thank you enough cupcakeaccessories! Now I'm off to make your package even craftier!

I received...I'm a tad bit late with pictures...But I work a LOT! Anywho...on to the goods. Kyrie gave me a wonderful spa package..which will be amazing...hence the working a lot part! How'd she know? Because we talk all the time, that's how!

There's a candle, bath salts, body wash...bath goodies...YUMMO! The candle smells amazing..even before lighting it. Umm yeah don't pay attention to all the junk on my dresser...Hey there's my powder!

These are cute little bath soaps! They smell good too. I'm  glad I took pictures before I put them in my bathroom!

Everything was warapped in really nice fabric! What a clever way to protect the goods, give me MORE fabric to add to my stash, and keep from using paper!

YOU ROCK KYRIE! I'M GLAD WE'RE BUDS...I'm kinda sad it's over...Let's hold hands and sing "It's sooo haaaard to say good byyyye to yesterdaaaaaaaaaaaay" *tear*

So after a few trips to the dollar store, wal-mart and Michael's...I have a DIAPER WREATH. I'm throwing my cousin a baby shower Saturday, so let's hope she likes it! I love it...Waddya think?

I made this for my swap partner Cheebs. This was my first attempt at completeing an embroidered project. So I took a wack at it, and then I attached it to a tote. I'd also like to mention that I'm extremely kawaii/hello kitty/i love pink chic, so the skulls were a stretch for me! I'd like to think of this as a milestone in my crafting career...I'd like to thank the academy..lol...here it goes folks!

Okay..so this is the first finished project I've posted. I'm REALLY good at making things, and forgetting to take pictures! Not the best crafty trait, I know! I made this for my partner in the Stuffie Swap! Fortunately she loved it. She liked pink..she liked pirates...who doesn't need a pirate doughnut?!?! He's a little rough around the edges..968938634 dramatic things happened during the creation of Sprink The Pirate...but here he is

*crouching in the corner in fear that no one else likes him*

10  Easy peasy Jewelry box! in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by Pinky Damone on: October 22, 2007 11:24:39 AM
Okay..for starters, I really hope I put this in the correct place! If not..I deeply apologize, but do tell me where to put it!  But it's my first topic! Yippy skippy!

This is a jewelry box that I made fooling around in one of the high school classes at the school I teach at. I then embellished it to make it super duper cute!

(it appears I can't post a photo..because of the posting numbers...so here are 2 links!)

Okay..so if you're not at eacher, and you can't go rip off wooden findings from the Woodwork class..then just go find a wooden box..or maybe you're not afraid of splinters and you want to make your own!

Okay..so anyway..then I painted it a couple of times, embelished it, and even decorated the bottoms of te drawers.

This was for my friend Kat..she's into a new vintage feel. I'm gonna redo a lot of the things in her house!

NOTE: the pictures on the link are small! When I tried to make them bigger they're going blurry..I'll have to come back and redo it! Sorry :-(

If you need more detailed instructions..let me know
