thats with the white circles around the eyes. i like this one best but does it look too much like an owl?

and heres without the circles around the eyes. its kinda weird looking because i cant get a good pic with my webcam, but if i did this im hoping it would look like this

5  crocheted cow in Crochet: Discussion and Questions by highxxfive on: March 08, 2008 03:20:47 PM
ok well my friend's birthday is coming up and she LOVES cows. so i wanted to crochet a cow for her for a birthday present. but i'm not sure how it looks.
does it look better without horns...

or with horns?

also, does it look like a cow? if there's anything i can do to make it look more like a cow PLEASE let me know!
and just ignore the loose ends, im not finished with everything yet and the horns aren't attatched. and i still have to make the body. ill post it on here when i finish it. ohh also, how should i make the body? do i make it separate then sew it on to the body, or just decrease stitched a little for a "neck" then increase and make the body? like all in one? or if you have any other ideas of how to make it?  Huh

9  Halloween costume help! in Halloween Costumes by highxxfive on: September 29, 2007 12:04:09 PM
OK so I have ONE MONTH left until halloween, and I've been trying to decide what to be. I'm a 13 year old girl, by the way. Smiley
But anyway, I came up with...3 ideas.
One is a little girl costume. I picture it having a poofy skirt/dress. I would maybe wear Mary Janes, and white knee high socks. I would put my hair in ringlets and either leave it down or put it in 2 ponytails. And I would hold a stuffed animal. So I might either just be a little girl, or be like a dead little girl, and wear black and everything would be like I described it. It'd just be kinda goth looking. And my stuffed animal would be kinda ripped up. So that's one option. But I need either a pattern(my grandma sews so she can sew it for me), or something. Here's a drawing of it that i made:

Another idea I had was like a zombie/mummy. I would either buy a gray jumper-type dress and get dirt and stuff on it. Or I would buy a poofy black gothic looking dress. And i would get a black choker, wear lace gloves, ripped fishnets, and boots. I would crimp my hair and either leave it down or do a half-up-half-down style. And I might wear an old looking tiara.

Another version of the zombie/mummy costume would be like this: I would buy a normal skirt and top. I would wrap them in gauze or something, and pin the gauze down so it'll stay. Then I'd wrap my arms in the gauze. I could wear black flats and wrap the gauze around them, and my legs. I would put dirt on this too. I'd do my hair the same as in the other zombie/mummy costume i described. And again, I might wear a tiara. Here's the zombie/mummy picture:

What do you think? Should I wear one of these 3 costumes? Or do you have any other ideas? By the way, sorry i typed so much. I don't have a camera so I couldn't take any pictures of the drawings I drew for each of these costumes.  Sad
