What a great idea! I adore Link (Just got done playing twilight princess! eeeeeee!) and this hat is really cool. It would make a great Halloween costume.

Love this so much! I don't usually like dolls, but this one is totally awesome. I adore the stylized-ness.

Super cute! I want to use it as a little fuzzy pirate cannon ball, and chuck it at unsuspecting passers-by.  Cheesy
115  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Re: Pencil Scarf.. no, not a thin scarf, a PENCIL scarf! on: October 05, 2007 02:13:25 PM
Awesome! I need to make one for my aspiring elementary school teacher friend. I also like the idea of a crayon one, there could be a whole set: pens, pencils, crayons, rulers, etc. Too fun!  Grin
116  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Discussion and Questions / Re: Contact Paper for Dorm Walls on: September 25, 2007 12:38:17 AM
I used contact paper in my dorm room, and it came off totally fine. But I only put it up on my closet and doors which were all made out of that fake wood stuff, and I had a bunch of small-ish cut outs rather than wallpapering the whole thing, so I can't vouch for large areas. I definitely would not have used it on painted surfaces, though.

Another thing that worked out really well for me was putting up big pieces of fabric. I found 2 yards of this awesome sunset-colored gradient gauzy stuff, and put that up along with a big palm tree that I painted on a piece of posterboard. It turned out great, and was an easy way to cover up the oppressively bland wall colors.

These are great! You have renewed my determination to find and destroy old watches! We can rebuild you! Make you better, prettier, and generally more awesome than before!
