32  skirt so ugly it's cute in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by timid_gothica on: April 20, 2008 08:57:08 AM
there's been this robe in my bedroom for months. Ugly sequined covered thing with spectacular knitting. Added some bed liners that I found at the same store. Didn't like it at first, but it's growing on me.

33  the applications of dryer lint in Costumes: Completed Projects by timid_gothica on: April 20, 2008 12:15:28 AM
This is a Halloween mask I made Two years ago. Just figured I would tell you guys that dryer lint in a great medium for many things. Jewelry, masks, sculptures. I used cardboard, newspaper, lint, feathers, and beads. Inspired By Labyrinth.

34  3 old craptacular shirts = recycled super shirt in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by timid_gothica on: April 15, 2008 07:34:46 AM
I always have a bag of scraps, and a pile of clothes that I hate. Can you blame me for buying an hoodie at Old Navy for one dollar? The previously mentioned hoodie, a shirt from my gothie days, and a hideous fluffy shirt were reconstructed, and reconstructed into this neat thing. I love the pocket, it's just in a cool place.

thanks for looking!

35  Target Ankle Bracelet in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by timid_gothica on: April 15, 2008 04:21:05 AM
I was working with some plastic bags over the last few hours. I really wanted to see if I could make a tote with magazine pictures laminated in the center. I got distracted, and made an anklet from some target bags, I also started making a belt, only a few more pieces and it will be finished and posted.

36  vinyl skull necklace in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by timid_gothica on: March 26, 2008 06:01:39 AM
Vling has cool stuff, But I'm a college student, and poor. There was a skull necklace that seemed really super, so I decided to try my hand at it. Printed out a stencil, made the marks on the vinyl with a razorblade (old R&B record from the early 90's). I then used the tip of a glue gun to melt the pattern out.

The chain I used was too long, so it made a cool bracelet. I snapped it into little pieced a few seconds later by crushing it with my hand. Heh, Thank go for super glue.

37  Solange ring reproduction in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by timid_gothica on: March 26, 2008 05:55:37 AM
I was browsing around Bazaar magazine, and found a super cool ring.

so guess how much they wanted for this ring? 20 thousand dollars. Hell, it might have been super cool, but not that cool. I could buy a car for that much, hell, two cars... brand new.

and here's my replica:

Made from clay, hardened, painted with water colors and covered in lacquer. Price: free... cause there's always clay and paints around.

peace

38  Bird headband in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by timid_gothica on: March 25, 2008 11:44:06 PM
I was inspired by the Threadbanger blog and made my own bird headband. Covered a plain black plastic band in some more appropriate scrap fabric, and made a bird from clay, feathers and beads.
