1  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Tips Signs and such. on: July 17, 2008 05:06:02 PM
I worked a tattoo convention in San Antonio last weekend and sold some hand painted stuff. There's tip signs, mirrors and a couple wallets with owls on them.

2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Mrs. Lovett purse on: March 10, 2008 06:22:17 PM
I made this for a swap. I didn't make the purse but, I hand painted Helena Bonham Carter on it. There's also lyrics from one of the Sweeney Todd songs... "Oh Mr. Todd, I'm so happy, I could eat you up I really could." I think it looks just like her. Sorry for the blurry pic. I'll ask my swap partner to get a better one.

3  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Mrs. Lovett Amigurumi on: March 10, 2008 06:15:16 PM
I made this as part of the Tim Burton Swap. I've been too excited to wait to post pictures so here they are. My partner's package was delivered, she just needs to pick it up. I learned to crochet just to do amigurumi and now I LOVE it!

Here she is. All her clothes come off too, so she can wear different outfits.

Here's the front view...

and the back

I'm really happy with the way she turned out.
4  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Victor and Emily Burned Portraits on: March 10, 2008 06:09:41 PM
This is my first attempt at wood burning and I made them for a swap. My partner recieved her package so I figured it's okay to post now.

Close ups of the images with lots of flash burn.

5  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Tim Burton anyone? on: January 11, 2008 04:32:34 PM
I can't organize any swaps yet but, I really want to participate in one. I threw a few ideas out there and didn't get much response. I don't know if it's my taste or if I just don't give it enough time so, here goes another one. What about a Tim Burton themed swap. Everything from Pee-Wee's Big Adventure to Sweeney Todd. Any takers?
6  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Strangers with Candy Swap on: January 09, 2008 06:37:37 PM
I know I'm not the only one who loves this TV show and since I didn't get much response on my John Water Swap idea, I figured Jerry Blank might be more popular. Again, I can't organize but, will definitly participate. Whadda ya'll think?
7  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Director John Waters Swap... on: January 06, 2008 11:18:48 PM
I probably quote his movies more than I should. Everything from Female Troubles to A Dirty Shame.  Wink  I've never participated in a swap so I don't think I  can organize it but, if anyone else is interested I'd be SOOOOO down.
8  CLOTHING / Shoes: Completed Projects / Day of the Dead shoes. on: September 18, 2007 11:19:22 PM
I painted these with regular acrylic paint for a friend of mine. The tops of the shoes are the front of sugar skulls and the back of the shoe is the bottom jaw of the skull. I wanted it to look like she had her foot in the skull's mouth.
9  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Exorcist Purse on: September 18, 2007 11:06:34 PM
Yay! My first post. I didn't technically make this purse. I bought it from Claires and then painted it with Hook Up leather shoe paint.
