11  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / little neat purple purse on: November 28, 2008 12:57:19 PM
I made this little cute purse for a friend, on whose birthday I felt ashamed because I didn't get her a present. I hope she likes this little present. What do you think?

(Since I took the pictures at night without natural light, colors don't look as bright as they really are)
12  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Macrame Booklets on: November 23, 2008 03:45:39 AM
I decided to make booklets from macrame for my friends. I'm just getting started, so I want to know how they look. Comments and criticisms are welcome, and I will totally appreciate new ideas and inspirations, because I will make nearly ten of them!  Grin
First one, pink and yellow:

And the second, blue one:

Thanks for looking!

13  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Super-easy Scarf on: November 12, 2008 06:54:52 AM
I finished it in only 45 mins, and I'm sure there are faster crocheters! All I did was to make 1,2 or 3 loops in every 20 chain. I made 3 lines, and attached them while crocheting. I like it very much, and hope you like it =)

Here are the photos:

Thanks for looking!
14  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Crocheted Flash Drive Cap on: November 05, 2008 11:19:21 AM
I lost the cap of my flash drive/mp3player months ago in a trip  Undecided i didn't care about it and was using it without a cap until it had some problems in connecting other computers. I think it was because of the dust in it, and it needed a cap, but as i couldn't reach the original, I could crochet it for my old mp3player. It took me a little time and I liked it.  Roll Eyes here are the photos:

I attached it to the back:

and a front view:

now it's warm and safe!
15  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / first amigurumi project- lots of pics on: October 20, 2008 02:50:53 PM
Hello everyone,
this is my first amigurumi project and i made this monsterish-hippy doll for my sister, who will be 17 on 22th. Of course it would be better but i think it is a good start! what do you think?

I named her pakize, which is a funny name in Turkish =) These are the photos of her:

btw, this (http://www.flickr.com/photos/kpwerker/112502293/) amigurumi on flickr was my inspiration, but with a little improvisation it turned out to be very different at the end.

17  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Flower Coaster on: September 20, 2008 11:58:53 AM
For I have little time to focus on biig craft projects in this time of the year- when the classes start:( - i do small things anyway. Here is a flower-shaped coaster which I think is very cute and useful.

If interested in doing it, I found the pattern here: http://teresafranco.typepad.com/teresafranco/2007/11/crochet-flower-.html However, it turned out to be smaller than I expected. It may be because I used a thinner yard.

18  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Time For Tea on: September 10, 2008 01:36:30 PM
I did this a few days ago but couldn't decide what to make of it. should I frame and hang it on the wall, or make a cushion.. I actually started this thinking that it would be a lovely bag.. however, I was discouraged at the and and couldn't decide what to make of it. Maybe you can give an idea.

But I like my cross-stitch a lot. Here it is:

if you're interested in doing this, i found the tutorial here: http://lachatelainedesigns.homestead.com/teatimechart.html.
19  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Makrame Owl on: September 10, 2008 05:30:02 AM
As soon as I found the pattern on the internet, I couldn't wait to start doing this! I think it's very cool!

It turned to be a key chain. (You can find the pattern here: http://kuoi.com/~nyssa/projects/macowl/index.html ) What do you think?
20  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Sunny and Flowery Pencil and Mp3player Case on: September 09, 2008 03:58:58 AM
As my lessons are about to start, I thought it would be cool to have a new pencilcase in the new school-year. I'm a university student but I always think pencilcases are good, necessary and decorative indeed.

And as a coincidence, I found some nice fabric in my grandma's wardrobe. Then it turned out to be a lovely pencilcase Smiley Because our old(I mean very old, like 50 years!) sewing machine is broken, I had to handsew it, but it was an enjoyable job for me.

I added a patchwork yo-yo on the pencilcase; however, as I didn't have any other fabric, it is not distinguishable at first sight.

At last, I wanted to crochet a flower to the zipper, but I couldn't find my crochet needle anywhere. Grandma helped me again (oh, she knows that I'm an untidy girl! Smiley). She gave me her old (I mean very old, maybe like 100 years old) crochet needle. And I made this small orange flower thanks to it.

Then I found out that there is a little fabric left. I decided to make it a case for my MP3player. It turned out to be very pretty, with the sun embroidery on it.

And the overall picture of them:

Well, special thanks to my old grandma (I mean very old, like 82 years old!). Without her I wouldn't do this project at all.

Hope you like it! Cheesy
