1  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Frame Monsters on: December 22, 2009 08:34:02 AM
I had a little fun with Christmas this year.
I made a few of my favorite guys, the Frame Monsters.
Most of them I make have a face that can be moved around.
But I had a few little ones this year, so they got a more permanent face.

I think they are still fun   Smiley

I worked out a design for a vinyl decal, it was for my BF's scooter and helmet.
It's a gray (which works great on the black) Skull over a Halligan and Axe.

I Had these characters in a group show recently that I missed, so I like to ask everyone for some feedback. Let me know what they like or dislike (it's okay I can take it ) before I make more in an upcoming show.

9  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Discussion and Questions / Need a sewing tip on: September 18, 2007 09:49:10 AM
Hello all, I'm new to the board.  But I'm also self taught when it comes to sewing, so sorry if this seam like a simple question.  My problem is putting a doll together when the arm and legs are thicker than the body... what is the best way to piece it all together, when it wont fit turned inside out.   Please let me know if you have a better way to set this up.
