11  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / My daughter will be a skunk but me...? on: October 09, 2007 10:52:14 AM
Hi everyone, hopefully someone can assist me, because I'm kinda stumped on this. My 4-year-old daughter -really- wants to be a skunk for Halloween (maybe I should inform her that some kids are mean and may say that she stinks?), and I was trying to think of something to dress myself in that would somehow match somewhat with her costume.
Another woodland creature? Bambi? I dunno, help me out, I appreciate it!
12  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Re: See this? This is my BOOMSTICK! on: September 05, 2007 03:59:54 PM
Very nice work, I've always thought Bruce Campbell was a hunk (geez how old am i, hunk!?), and my husband likes to tease me about it.

Have you ever done a stenciling project before? Was this difficult at all for you?

Wow, thanks for the advice! I am going to try out an adult version early this week, since I'm on Spring Break! I will post a better pic than this once it is completed... this was with my camera phone.

I can't remember the name of the project right now, but I worked up this hat pretty fast for a baby shower I went to on Saturday. Everyone said "ooohs" and "aaaah" and were quite impressed. I was so proud! The only thing I changed was the pink to blue, since it was for a boy. I want to try and create a larger version of one of these for my friend! Anyone think it's possible?

Every time I get on craftster. I find myself back here staring at this recipe. So this weekend I bought the supplies and am determined to make it on Wednesday. It sounds wonderful, but my husband is weird about new things sometimes. I will tell you about the results!
