1  Laptop/Notebook Cover in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by virsaq07 on: March 16, 2009 09:31:52 AM
Today I made this cheery cover for my notebook. These days are so windy and dusty that I think a cover would be necessary..Cheesy. It's simple one, made of flanel and cotton lining. Envelope type of cover with velcro closure. Elastic on the top cover to prevent it from sliding down while it's open.
So from now, at least, I dont have to dust before using it..Wink

Oh and I made small pouch to keep those cables..^_^

Here it is:

when it's closed:

and the lil pouch:

and now I'm going to make more for my sister & my friend...yay!! It feels good when somebody likes your handmade stuff...so Yay again!!!  Cheesy

Have a nice day

9  Indian Prints Pinafore in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by virsaq07 on: November 04, 2008 10:31:41 AM
I'm getting ready for my second exhibition (yay!), and since in my last one,  most of the dresses I made are sold out so I made few more this time. One of them is this Pinafore with pyjama pants. I made this out of scrap fabric from my tunic. It has typical Indian prints which I love so much...I think it's called Kari prints. I put 100% cotton lining and did the buttonhole stitch around the neck and hem line.
so, here it is:

The pinafore

The SET:

Thanks for looking & have a nice CRAFTY day.. Cheesy

10  BLACK N WHITE LOLITA Skirt in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by virsaq07 on: November 02, 2008 09:05:19 AM
Today I finished this skirt...I made as a trial before I make the real one. Well, a friend of mine want lolita skirt with yukata top. I havent make the top as yet though...

I use elastic waist ban, though I am wondering which one is better Elastic or Normal type of waist ban..What do you think??
This is of course easiest. I use tule and cotton lining. I thought of using only tule but it wont be comfortable to wear plus with more lining, the fuller the skirt looks..Cheesy

I use crepe fabric here with cotton lining

so, here it is:

Action Shot ~ Before I finished the hem  Grin and its a little blurred:(

The finished skirt:

The inside:

Thanks for looking...and comment/suggestion will be much appreciated...Wink
