1  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: End of School Year Bag for Teacher on: September 10, 2004 07:56:36 PM
I did it! The pocked was a card I had found, then scanned it into my computer and printed it out on fabric. That's the third bag I've made from the red ticking stripe with red bandana print lining (I wish I'd taken a picture with the lining showing). I'm making a diaper bag right now of this fabric, then I think I'm going to retire that particular combination!

OK, I'm going to try this one more time, then I'll give up if it doesn't work! I used Photobucket and I hope it works!

I'm trying to figure out how to attach a picture to this message -- anyway if it works, I made a tote bag for my grandson's kindergarten teacher last year, she was heaven sent. I didn't make a picture of the inside, but it is lined with red bandana print. The pocket is a picture of a card that I printed on my computer (just high thread count muslin ironed onto freezer paper). OK that didn't work! Can anyone offer me a simple tutorial on how to post a picture?

Great looking bag! Can I ask what the red is (around the inside and the inside of the straps)? It almost looks like a very wide satin stitch, but I didn't see anything on the outside!

I made my granddaughter the Kool-Aid Jammers bag, and I even used the ones that had been punctured with a straw! they close up anyway!

Here's a totebag I made for my grandson's kindergarten teacher as an end-of-the-year gift!
