I'm so freakin' excited that the theme is fictional characters! I've had an idea in my head for a looooong time, and now I have the motivation to make it.  Grin

That's tooooo cute. I love the fact that there's "ashes" already in the ashtray. Just be careful! The cherry of the cigarette can (and will) burn the clay. You can always find an ashtray that fits inside of your poly one or a metal/glass/etc dish so you can keep the polymer from scorching and keep it all pristine and such!
47  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Re: Swirlies Vice Holder on: November 18, 2008 09:31:40 PM
That's too cute. Hopefully, if it's what I think it is, the vice deals with glass... Because, if it's a paper wrapped vice, it can scorch the crap out of the clay. I learned that one the hard way.

I'd use it as a mini liquid breakfast in bed tray to serve a "hair of the dog" shot to myself. haha
48  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Re: Penguins & Frog figures on: September 04, 2008 11:50:21 PM
The penguins remind me of the seagulls from Finding Nemo.....Mine, Mine, Mine!!!

When I was making them, I knew he needed something... And that very moment popped into my head and I knew it had to be done.

Thanks all for allllll the wonderful compliments!

Two of my best friend's co-workers finally stopped drooling over her penguin figure I made her for her birthday, so they finally put in teir requests. They didn't give me too many details just "I want penguins" & "I want frogs".So, I went off in my own little direction and the gals loved them.

My favorite, the penguins.

He just cracks me up every time I see his little blank stare.

Hope you guys like them!
