i think this was the first dress that i ever attempted to make... and then didnt finish. haha but i just got home from and was cleaning out my closet. so i decided to finish it!

as you can see, i was to eager to take a picture of it, so it is very wrinkly. ahha oh well.

lol i know this thread is old... but i just wanted to say that all i ever want is orange juice. i cant keep anything in when im hung over and nauseous. Sad i'll have to try the greasy foods. i usually end up just going to dennys with everyone and barely eating french toast. once i wake up later though i eat the rest of it... but thats when im better. haha

if you do any kind of martial art... you should be familiar with these shoes!

my friend made the first one and she hangs it off of her phone as a cell phone charm. she showed me how to make them and now i am a happy camper.
8  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Ts for senior gifts. (lots of pictures.. sorry) on: February 25, 2010 06:14:42 AM
So this was last year... but whatever. For our end of the year wushu (chinese martial arts) banquet thing us newbs decided to make our graduating seniors t-shirts (and a few other things like bracelets, key chains, and gag awards/certificates) for their presents. since i was the only one who knew how to stencil i was kinda put in charge... it was a long week, lemme tell you. but it was really fun. i think the most stressful part was trying to think of what would go on the shirts and on the certificates since they were all going to be inside jokes.

a couple of the shirts werent done yet when we took pictures... and then we forgot to take pictures of them.. -_-

here are some pictures of our seniors modeling them!

and here they all are!! (minus one)

and if you guys cared... i am going to list out what their certificates and shirts say from left to right and briefly explain the inside jokes.

1. Award: Mr. Mysterious
Tshirt: I'm Robert BITCH!
he's really shy and rarely talks... HAHAHA i wonder if he ever wears that shirt.

2. Award: biggest free food whore
Tshirt: of herself thumbs uping & it says periwinkle & cobalt on it
she always poses like that and i remember her arguing with another club member (for HOURS) about periwinkle being a pretty color and how he only likes cobalt because it sounds manly & if cobalt was named periwinkle he would not like it.

3. Award: smoothest dance moves
Tshirt: Redbull gives you kidney stones AERIALS
he says that he drinks red bull so he can land all his aerials...

4. Award: BEST NUTS
Tshirt: wushu grandaddy
he has really tasty nuts... so tasty that squirrels chewed through his backpack when we were on the beach to get to them. D: and he's actually wushu daddy because he teaches us newbs what to do like we are his children... but its wushu grandaddy because we like to crack old jokes at him.

5. Award: Best facial expressions
Tshirt: hide the children!
he makes retarded faces... and his creepiest one is his "hide the children" face. seriously, it's way creepy. I CANT BELIEVE HE WEARS IT IN PUBLIC

6. Award: the super stalker
Tshirt: hamster with a huge mushroom cloud in the back saying "i didnt do it"
she seems so innocent! ... it's very deceiving.

7. Award: best motivational speeches
tshirt: <3
actually he gives really awkward speeches. i mean they are pretty motivational and you do want to do better and give your all yadda yadda... but he usually takes it a step farther and you're left feeling... well, awkward. oh and he usually does the heart thing with his hands. very fitting!

8. Award: best black girl booty dance
tshirt: TMFL & on the sleeves it says thunder and lightning
he has the best black girl booty dance... what can i say? and apparently TMFL's punches are as fast as lightning. i cant remember exactly how he explained it... sorry.

9. Award: most fertile
Tshirt: wushu mama
she takes us newbs under her wing and teaches us what to do. she has a lot of wushu babies... thus she is most fertile.
9  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / ron ron RON WEASLEY! potter puppet pal on: February 19, 2010 08:39:12 AM
i got the idea off of this https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=334832.0
... but i love ron weasley more! his face is kinda lopsided... but that's okay. maybe i'll try it again and i'll know what to do this time around. there was a lot of seam ripping going on.... grr.

10  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: pillowcases!!! on: February 09, 2010 06:16:42 AM
i just figured it out on my own. yeah it was basically me being like "what's faster than making quilts? ... PILLOWS!" but I didnt want to give them pillows with actual stuffing in it, you know? so i made them into pillowcases! and like pixelated stuff is the easiest stuff that turns out really cool. haha. oh but when i made it i decided to put another piece of fabric behind the pixelated part so that it wouldnt fall apart in the wash. so just like a quilt minus the batting. i dont know i havent messed around with it enough yet. i dont know if its better to keep the batting and then sew on top of it like a quilt... or if this is fine. or maybe still sew on top of it even if there is no batting... i dont know. ahah sorry i feel like im yammering.

anyway, now they can think of me before they go to sleep... hehehe Wink
