44  Pinkypuss and Shroom! in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by Esjay82 on: March 22, 2008 04:43:51 PM
These are 2 more items i made as gifts for people (i made them in november last year, its just taken me aaaaaaaages to post pics), the shroom was a thanku to a friend who helped us move and the Pinkypuss was an christmas gift for my bro who gets called 'Pinky'.. n he has Ginger hair so thats why i gave the 'Pinkypuss' Orange yarn for hair too! lol!

Thanks for looking.

The pattern for the octopus is on here somewhere:

i think i followed it.. but its dead simple its just 1 ball shape with 8 small ball shapes sewn on for the legs.. that one is cuter than mine, but i think my Pinkypuss has alot of personality! lol!

45  Fat Penguin and Giraffe in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by Esjay82 on: March 20, 2008 01:31:21 PM
Here are 2 things i made as Christmas gifts for friends.. the first one is the Penguin from the lionbrand website.. i've seen him on here before  but i thought i'd post him anyway..

Penguin pattern: http://www.lionbrand.com/patterns/70583AD.html

The second is a Giraffe i made for my friend who is Giraffe mad! I kind of made up the pattern for him as i went along.. and then stuck felt on for his markings, and his horns are also rolled up felt. My friend loved him! So that made me happy! i know he's not quite perfect but he's still a cutie! Shame u cant see his hair too well in this pic! but u can see it a bit!

I finished my blanket last week..... here is a pic of it... sorry its such a blurry one! lol! i dont know what happend!? but u can see it okish.. in the pic the final row has only just been started.. i did a round of crabstitch in the blue colour.. my friend found out she is having a baby boy.. i think the rainbow colours are pretty unisex tho! She also told me she is decorating the nursery in bright colours! So i think this will fit in nicely! she doesnt know i have made it tho its a surprise! i am making a blue and green elephant to go with it!
anyways here's the pic...

From point to 'valley' it measures approx 37" i think there;s around about 30 rows?! done with an H hook.

I made these as christmas gifts for a friend of mine who LOVES orange and black! I think they are some of the most simple things to make, but i think they turned out ok. And the recipient liked them.

this scarf was my first attempt at illusion knitting..

This is the first time i've posted a picture of anything i've made I hope it all works! This is a baby blanket i made for my friends cousin. It was crocheted with a H hook and Knitpicks Swish in the Aloe colour. i think i used about 9 balls of it.

The pictures are before blocking and weaving in the ends but i think i am still happy with it. I haven't been crocheting that long, and this is the first larger item i've made.

The Pattern is from:
