41  Re: My version of the Pretty Puff Slouchy Hat in Crochet: Completed Projects by lilyla19 on: January 09, 2008 03:36:55 AM
this is such a  cute hat! Made one myself. But my sister claims it and flies off with it.
I'm a beginner too, and I manage to make this.. even it doesn't look that right.

Well, the stitches look a bit weird to me. Yes I did hide my mistakes, trying to wear the column on the back of my head.

This is pretty puff hat pattern made with a 4.0mm hook

and this is the results..

Front, on my head

The not-so-slouchy hat on the back,

And this is the first ever hat I done with this pattern, but it sorta went wrong, and turned into a beanie.

Oh, and I just got a 7mm hook, I might try again.

43  Why is it like this? (One More question at the bottom post) in Crochet: Discussion and Questions by lilyla19 on: December 11, 2007 10:08:56 PM
Why does my piece doesn't lay flat like anyone else? It curls  up at some bits and this looks weird

What should I do to fix it?

frog it and starts all over?
