I would like to know what I could use, which paint or material to recolor a barbie? I want to go from blonde to pink.

I never changed the hair of a barbie, due to not knowing how to take a head off and getting the hair out and redoing the hair completely.
But I am sure there is an easy way, like taking some paint or somehting and just dyeing the hair.

Thank you, any help is appreciated!

957  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Stitch And BOTCH / Sewing Machine Issue.Help please? on: October 15, 2007 04:59:44 AM
Oh dear,I knew it coming my way.

I started on my halloween costume today...I tested my old sewing machine which was at my aunt's place for 7 years (therefore I say old >.<  I got it back after asking.)

Anyway, the top thread keeps cluttering up in the bottom and tears the cloth into it.I have to wiggle the needle and then cut of the thread.I pull strings of the top thread out from the bottom thing. And it happens after the first few stitcches.

I need to have this fixed tomorow...Can anyone help me,pretty please with sugar on top?

And I apologize if this is the wrong section!

Hey,I have to say this board is soo cool!
I have to post the stuff I have made from here, and well,I finally need help so I registered. ;]

For Halloween,I was thinking about making me a witch outfit and I would like a double layered skirt like these here, http://www.gypsymoon.com/amybrownfaerywear/skirts_windrushskirt.php my only issue is right now..I am a bit on the bigger side, and my first idea was to just take a square piece of cloth and turning that into a skirt.
But since I would need to sew a few pieces together to fit my hip ,my logic thinking came to an end!!
Also I forgot how we got the last big bell skirt to look right at the top XD

So if anybody has seen any tutorials around here with pics,or good patterns the can recommend, please let me know!

And btw,I would also be interested in tight-longsleeve's,puffy-shouldered shirts tutorials as well. * I will go search for this since it just poped in my head*
I have found 2 patterns that I couuuullld modify to make it look the way I need it,but I would really appreaciate what your guys have to says, since you have much more practise than me!!

Thank you!
