21  Horsey shirt in Needlework: Completed Projects by nolazombie on: November 29, 2007 12:08:46 AM
Not really my style, but I made it as a christmas present, so that doesn't really matter...
Whatcha think?

This is on the back of a dickies work shirt

22  Big cats western shirt in Needlework: Completed Projects by nolazombie on: October 13, 2007 09:43:19 PM
I started this shirt because I fell in love with the song it came from- a rather obscure rockabilly song called "You're gone baby" by Jimmy Lloyd.

I didn't have the "Duh, rather part of a Cramps song too" moment until I was halfway through it... that doesn't bother me, I love the Cramps too, that just wasn't the original intent.

So, whatcha think?  It's a whole heck of a lot of words, but I adore the line... Not the best pics ever, I should have better ones soon, but I couldn't wait!

Here's an 'in action' shot of the shirt...
Oh yeah, it's special.  But such a ridiculous shirt begs for ridiculous pictures, and what good is such ridiculousness if you don't share it?

I've been AKA the Ellie Monster for years now, and it struck me in a moment of sheer ridiculousness that I needed to make this.  I was going to keep working on it, but a few of my friends convinced me it was 'done'... whatcha think?

I need to get a better picture of the kitties on the front...

25  Bunnycore Vans in Shoes: Completed Projects by nolazombie on: September 17, 2007 12:48:15 AM
I made these for a friend a year or so ago.  Used rather pricey fabric markers, and they've held up as well as you'd expect from any pair of Vans.

26  My classy classy lamp in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by nolazombie on: September 11, 2007 10:09:38 PM
Whatcha think?

I had the mannequin torso for nearly a year before I was inspired to do this to it.  Unfortunatly, my cat was all too enamoured with the creation, and it now lives at a friends house.

27  A few totes- in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by nolazombie on: September 11, 2007 10:05:56 PM
New to the site, and I thought I'd share a few totes I've made.  They're all really simple bags, lined with goofy fabric, with 'patches' I've drawn sewn on.  I was all about that look for a while..
Any thoughts, comments, etc. are appreciated!
