1  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / all this yarn and nothing to make on: December 04, 2007 08:28:27 PM
I am collecting yarn, im not sure why yet, but i like to crochet.  I crochet mainly just to do it, not to make stuff, but i need ideas of stuff to make.

i have a lot of browns and neutrals ...  i was thinking teddy bears?
2  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / filet crochet graphs on: September 04, 2007 08:28:31 AM
Does anyone know of a site that has lots of free filet crochet graphs?  I'm just starting filet crochet (i've been crocheting for years) and I'm looking for easy beginner graphs.... I would especially like some of trees, flowers, animals, and simple patterns.
Also, is it better to filet crochet with double crochet stitches or triple?
3  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / face mask to get rid of acne? on: September 01, 2007 10:36:35 PM
does anyone know of a good "recipe" for a natural foods face mask to get rid of acne?

i tried making one with oatmeal, chopped apple, and green tea, but it doesn't "stick" well. (tastes interesting tho...i got some in my mouth by accident  Tongue)  i was trying different ingredients too, like baking soda, crushed aspirin and green tea.

are there any other good ingredients that would work well on oily to normal skin?
4  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / bored with square motifs on: August 31, 2007 06:42:14 PM
Does anyone know of any other motif patterns?  like circles, triangles and other shapes that are made with a medium sized hook (like I or J)?  I want to make an afghan with a shape other than a square, so the motifs should be easy enough to link together too.
No fancy doily patterns please, I want quick and easy motifs so I can make an afghan quickly.
Thanks! Grin
