1  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: The 2006 Wishlist ROUND 2 on: February 04, 2006 05:26:03 PM

Rock 'n Roll themed items for my boys' bedroom.  They are 10-12 and would love to have curtains, pillows, frames, a record clock, posters and anything else RnR to put in their room.

*Anything Frank the Bunny from the movie Donnie Darko.
Here is a great stencil image

Soaps of any size, shape or fragrance.
Thanks so much!

Leather photo cuff (prefer black or pink) like this:

One inch buttons/pins made with fabrics, papers, etc.  Pretty much any theme or color.

Potholders like these, but made with some funky, retro or hip fabrics...

Candles...any size, shape, fragrance.

I can never have enough TOTE BAGS!  Would love one large enough to cart around my large paper supplies...they are at least 14"X14".

Any type of flower pin...made with beads, fabric, silk flowers, etc.
Thanks *so* much for the wonderful pins...they are posted in the gallery.

Jewelry...I wear necklaces, bracelets and pierced earrings of all types and styles.

A necktie bag like this awesome one...

I really need a wrist bag like one of these...I would LOVE a WonderWoman one, but would also like one that has an A on it.

Black and pink skull hand towels like these

Reconstructed t-shirts made into cool things.

This adorable kitty cat cap:

I love these "leg warmers" but I want them for my arms.    Black and pink would be really cool!

This matching purse and belt are just *too* cute.

An evil kitty potholder.  Very cool.

And the Betty Boop potholder:

Hello!  I'm Antuanette and I'm 34 years old.  I live in Central FL and have two sons, a husband and 3 kitty cats.  My favorite colors are black and pink.  I love anything funky, retro and kitschy.  I would love anything to do with Wonder Woman, Frank the Bunny from Donnie Darko, Rock N Roll or PINK!

I've absolutely loved everything I've seen so far.  And I received my VERY FIRST EVER swap
items a few days ago.  These three flower pins are just adorable and I can't wait to go out to lunch so I can wear one.  Smiley  I've already added the large pink one (my favorite!!!) to a ribbon purse and it looks fantastic.  Kristina...THANKS so much for the beautiful flowers!

I'm going to toss in a vote for Martha Stewart.  Girlfriend came out of jail wearing a hand knit poncho for the cameras.  Smiley

8  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General / Handgun and Yoda pillows on: January 19, 2006 11:25:03 PM
Here are some fleece/felt pillows that I made for my two sons.  I love the idea of using a "stencil" to make a design!

I basically found images I liked, printed the onto copy paper and adhered them to a piece of fleece or felt.  Then I cut the image out and used the sewing machine to attach to the pillow front.  They are super soft and the perfect size for travel pillows.

Just wanted to share the DIY card kit that I mailed for this swap!

It has pre-cut/scored cardstock cards, envelopes, patterned papers, speciatly papers, ribbon, twistel, a stamp, fibers, brads, a card layout template, a tag template, tabs, ephemera, and a magic matter in a box labled "~cards~".
10  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Lite Brite Lampshade on: January 14, 2006 11:33:17 PM
i just wonder if it has to be one of those metal shades, or would it work on a regular fabric lampshade?

Yep, it will work with a fabric lampshade, too.  This one has red fabric under the black cardstock.

Thanks, everyone, for your comments!
