Look up some of his quotes...I think there's about three books of them  Shocked  There might be something useful in them.

Anyhoo, I absolutly love your Bush head.  It rocks.

I just did that, too (using the Stitch N Bitch instructions).  I used cherry, lime, orange, and blueberry.  I'm thinking that next time I'm gonna use more coordinating colors, cause the colors kind of ran all to the ends and mixed together.  It's quite watercolor-y.  And my bathroom smells real good!

743  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Discussion and Questions / Re: Is it possible to stencil on a knitted piece? on: August 08, 2004 10:50:01 PM
Well, I knit up a swatch using pure cotton yarn...and it worked!  Now, I don't think it would work on a fuzzy yarn.  The paint would probably clump up.

Proof:

Sorry about the size.  Photobucket is being weird.

If I use small needles and a thin yarn (which equals a tight fabric), would the stencil turn out?

Huh

Thanks,

746  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Nice and easy sweater pattern, anyone??? on: August 05, 2004 10:44:03 PM
Hi!  I've been knitting since last December, and I have piles upon piles of scarves and purses, and a few stray, mis-shappen hats.  I'm dying to make a sweater, but I'm having trouble finding an easy pattern in a plus size (by the way, I'm not good at following patterns--I usually just look at the picture and then wing it Shocked  )   And for the love of god, please nothing that requires a circular needle, double needles, or intarsia!  That makes me want to pull my hair out.

I love thick yarn and big needles.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks,
~K

I'm more of a non-pattern reader, so to try this hat out, I decided to make one for a doll:

And then, it inspired me to make a little kitty-themed scarf for the doll as well:

Which, of course led me to want a set in my size as well. Tongue
