Those looks awesome!

I just saw the tv ad for those the other night and asked my husband if it was wrong that I wanted one of those for myself.  They do look comfy cozy.  Thanks for the link as well, I think I'm going to have to make myself one.

14  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: Five memory quilts (ooooodles of pics) on: December 02, 2008 05:24:21 AM
*wiping tears away to type*

I'm very touched by this.  The quilts are very (very) beautiful, but your generousity speaks louder.  Hopefully others (myself included) will get inspired to do something like this for others.

It looks fantastic!!!!!  I've been looking at this sweater for quite sometime, and I love the length on you, as someone said, it gives it that layered look that I'm oh so fond of.
16  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing Machines: Discussion and Questions / Re: Updated..What sewing machine do u use? (Pics Please) on: November 25, 2008 07:46:14 PM
This here is my baby.  It was an Ebay purchase after my $70 Wally World Brother machine pissed me off one too many times.  Funny thing is that (including shipping) this baby here cost less than my first one.

It's a Singer 5528 that was made from 1982-1984.

18  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Re: 2nd attempt at embellishing Jeans! on: November 15, 2008 05:42:38 PM
Those are great!  Trust me, I know just how hard kids can be on the knees of jeans.  Great job!  And your daughter is adorable!  Smiley
19  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Pretty custom necktie skirt abandoned by customer on: November 15, 2008 05:33:02 PM
Sad  Sorry your customer bailed on you.  It's a really beautiful skirt!  Checked out your Etsy shop as well, you do amazing things with ties.  My Dad gave me about 20 of his old ties and I've been clueless as what to do with them.  Thanks for the inspiration!

Thank you for your comments!

will the cut edge of your handle fray?

I've been using this every day since I've made it and the handle has frayed.  But I love the look of frayed jeans.  Doesn't bother me any.
