I would put gloves on her but she doesn't like things on her hands. She will complain if her shirts are covering her hands so I can't put gloves on. I think for comfort she will just be wearing her sneakers and I will probably bring a stroller with me just in case she get too tired.
5  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Updated new length---minnie mouse costume on: September 18, 2008 07:34:51 AM
I finished my daughters minnie mouse costume and I am somewhat pleased with it but I don't know about the length. Do you think I should shorten it a little? Just imagine it with a black long sleeve shirt underneath and pig tails with ears.

I shortened it a little bit just ignore her clothes underneath I didn't feel like stripping her. How does it look? Better?
6  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Halloween 2 tiered skirt on: September 16, 2008 07:28:27 AM
I whipped this little skirt up last night. I went shopping at walmart and couldn't resist the craft department. They had a great sale last night.

I found this fabric on sale at walmart and thought it was too cute to pass up so I made my daughter a new dress. I made it a little bigger so she would be able to wear it throught the winter.

8  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Doll Wedding dress on: September 11, 2008 12:09:30 PM
My neighbors have recently helped us through a life altering crisis and to try and repay some of the kindness they have shown us I made this dress. My neighbors wife has this doll that she has had since she was a kid. It stands a little over a foot tall and is made from solid rubber. It used to have a wedding dress on it but it got ruined over the years so I decided to try and replace it. I went to the store and found some pretty fabric and got to work.
Here is the front

Here is details of the back

Here is the veil

Here it is put together on the doll

10  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Re: Christmas 2008, what are you making this year? on: July 14, 2008 03:18:12 PM
My list is kind of long but not all is homemade

1. My dh I found this really cool tattoo fabric and I am gonna some pj pants. I also saw this really cool love letter pillow. You but one of those small pillows with a white pillowcase or color of your choosing and use a fabric pen and write a love letter on the pillowcase. I was also thinking some sort of treat.

2. 3 boys ages 4,5,6 I am gonna make capes, character pillow cases with a matching book and bedding, pj pants with stenciled shirts

3. 2 girls both age 2 I am working on a dress up chest, pj's, character pillowcases with matching book and bedding, and girl capes.

4. My gramma something with cats but I don't know what yet
5. my mom I was thinking something made by the kids and maybe a spa basket
6. My dad I don't know yet
7. My 20 year old brother I have no clue
8. my 8 year old brother probably pj pants and stenciled shirts and maybe a cape.
9. my 1 year old neice pjs and maybe the pillowcase with matching book
10. my sister I don't know maybe something made by her kids. I have custody of three of them.
My neighbors are getting 2 baskets one with edible treats and one with house stuff
on top of all of that I want to redo my bedroom. Well here is hoping something actually gets done.! lol
