1  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Re: Dinosaur Cargo Shorts {rawr!} on: May 09, 2008 01:36:23 PM
They look great!  My boys love dinosaurs too.  In fact, I bought green fabric like that and was going to make cargo shorts with them, but looked at my pattern and said nah.  So now I'm using the fabric for a quilt.  (Was your pattern a Simplicity?)
2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Flaming Pirates patchwork bag! on: April 08, 2008 02:13:58 PM
Hi all,
I had these fabrics left over from other projects and decided to try a patchwork bag.  I made it big enough to carry regular purse-stuff plus stuff for my twins (sippys, snacks, extra pants, etc.) because I didn't want a regular diaper bag.  The boys think it's way cool.

Thanks for looking!
3  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Re: Baby Shoes big ones and teeny tiny ones on: April 01, 2008 08:32:51 AM
I love the baby shoes!  I'm going to try to make some for my soon-to-arrive nephew.

BTW- When I opened this thread VeggieJess's avatar was a near-naked Hasselhoff with the tagline (mmm...veggies).  Today's prank is hilarious.

I love it!  I'm glad you finished the jacket- it compliments the dress so well.  And I love your daughter's model poses.   Smiley

The shirts look great!  Congratulations on your husband coming home!  And thank you all (because I know wives serve too).

10  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Re: OMG! I did it!! A Cheytown dress!*action pics added* on: March 26, 2008 05:48:10 AM
That looks so fun!  I've seen so many great Cheytown dresses for toddlers, it never occurred to me that you could make one for an older girl.  Great job!

I'd love to try it, but here I am with two sons and three nephews. I recon my DH's shirts into... smaller shirts.  Cheesy
