1  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / New here & need help -now with finished pic on: August 20, 2007 10:13:15 AM
Hi  Smiley I'm new here and was attempting to make a toddler dress from a button down shirt but I'm having some problems.  I pretty much know nothing about sewing or sewing machines.  My thread keeps breaking, even though I went and bought some good quality thread.  Plus the stiching looks all wonky when it does actually sew.  Here's a pic - or rather a link to the pic since I haven't posted 10 times yet.

I know I need to adjust my tension and stitch length but I have and I don't see any difference.  What settings would you start off with?   Huh
