Amazing!  You obviously have great tailoring skills- I don't know if I could take in all those seams and get it so nicely fitted without a pattern.  This is a true transformation piece: from total frump to an updated sexy style.  Congrats!

Ha!  This is hilarious!  Cheesy  I work in a children's museum with live animals and we have Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches there too.  They are such neat, funny little creatures.  I love your felt version of them- If only you could get it to make the hissing noise too!

That's amazing! Great job- I can totally see this becoming a family heirloom.

I uploaded the photo again through the Craftster Photo Hosting, so hopefully the picture works now!

I made these Bohr's atomic models of water molecules out of sugar cookies as a small holiday gift for my coworkers at a children's science museum.  The mini chocolate chips are the electrons.  (Larger atom = Oxygen with 8 electrons. 2 in inner atomic ring, 6 in outer atomic ring.  The smaller atoms bonded onto Oxygen are the Hydrogen atoms with only one atomic ring and electron which bonds onto the outer ring of the Oxygen atom.)  Edible science!

Great job!  I particularly like the underarm tree one.  There's something more artistic in a way about its placement - coming out of the side like that.

Hi!  Sorry for the delay in posting the pictures- I didn't have too much computer access the past couple of days.  Here are the photos of the package I received from crazykittylady (sorry for the fuzzy cell phone camera pix!):

The germ cell ring.  It looks like it was painted with a technique similar to reverse glass painting!

The enlarged plush mono microbe.  This seems like a much cuter version of mono than the real one I had a couple of years ago!

The germy bracelet with very germ cell like fun glass beads.

3 shrinky dinks of germ cells.

Thanks crazykittylady!

There were a couple of requests earlier for closer pix on some of the things I sent to cumber1137 too so here's a closer view of one of them (I hope you don't mind cumber1137) For some reason I had trouble getting the pictures on the computer of the other ones but to answer one of the questions the fabric is of the night stars (She mentioned she was interested in stars/astronomy).  If you look closely on the fabric you can even find  a couple of constellations.  The belt has a hidden zipper (my first zipper!) on the inside so it can be used discreetly as a wallet of sorts (I followed a tutorial off of cumber1137's wist list).

Still not the greatest photo but you can kind of see - the magnets are of all of the planets in our solar system.  Pluto is in there too despite the controversy on its status but I did use NASA images so Pluto ended up just being a tiny dot - their way of showing it's a dwarf planet.

Sorry so long but I hope everyone's well and best wishes for a great holiday season!

Hi!  I just wanted to say that I have received from crazykittylady.  She sent a germ themed package with a little slide in a slide holder of an amoeba, a large clear ring that she had painted little circular germ cells on (my favorite of the bunch), a bracelet with germ shaped glass beads, three shrinkie germ cells, and a plush stuffed enlarged mono cell.

Thank you Crazykittylady, and I will try to post pictures tommorow!

Everyone's posted such amazing stuff! I'm very impressed by how many skilled knitters are in this swap too!

I've got three things finished and one larger one to tackle (I think I might re-do one of the three though).  I'm really excited about this being my first swap.  I can't wait to see what everyone has made.
