Charlieandwillow sent me this wonderful package:

My very own wand from Olivanders in a lovely box, a house elf liberation kit and some Bertie botts beans.  Thankfully she picked out the vomit flavored ones before sending!

Here's what the wand looks like:

Thank you Charlieandwillow for this awesome package!  I love it!

Fiberalchemist spoiled me!  She sent 2 ornaments and a couple extra goodies!

First, I opened this lovely expecto patronum ornament:

The shading is what makes this ornament really special (Its a silvery-blue with a darker blue shading) the paint is just the right color for a patrons!

Then I opened a marauder's map ornament:

Perfect!  It even has little footprints!
My extras were a "Butterbeer" candy cane and a Luna silhouette bookmark!  It was fun swapping with you Fiberalchemist!  I love everything! Grin

4  Honeydukes Altered Tin in Completed Projects by felicitybaby on: October 29, 2014 07:57:08 PM
I made this altered tin for a Harry Potter swap a while ago.  Its a mini-Honeydukes!

Here is the outside of the tin

Close-up of the candy shelves:

Rainbow lollipops

Bertie Botts Beans of Every Flavor

And Cotton Candy (Candy Floss)

I planned on making a version for myself, but we'll see if I ever get to it  Grin

5  Marauder's map Clutch purse in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by felicitybaby on: October 29, 2014 07:47:30 PM

I made this for a Harry Potter swap a while ago and am now just getting around to posting it!
This is a Marauder's map clutch purse.  The opening is made with strips of a metal roll-up measuring tape so it snaps open and closed.

I printed my own fabric with images of the Marauder's map I found online.
I tried to use a brass zipper opening and it would have looked nicer but I ruined it and had to start over (zippers are hard!)

6  Book of Dragons in Completed Projects by felicitybaby on: October 29, 2014 07:32:48 PM

I made this book cover for a Harry Potter swap.  It is a blank sketch book but I'm pretending it is a text book for Hogwarts Magical Creatures class.  I found this cool scaly paper at the thrift store, I'm not sure what it was for--it is thick like wallpaper.  There was a whole bunch but I only got a little because I wasn't sure what I would do with it (and I was trying not to be a hoarder!)  Now I am kicking myself because it is really one of a kind and I will use it up too soon!

I traced the title after printing it from my computer with lovely gold paint pen and framed it with a scrap of decorative braid.
(Thank you for the photos Knickertwist--I forgot to take some before I sent it off)

7  Mrs. Weasley's Burrow Pillow in Needlework: Completed Projects by felicitybaby on: October 29, 2014 07:23:31 PM
I made this pillow to go with a quilt I made in a Harry Potter swap.  This is a pillow Mrs. Weasley might have made for her couch, it says "Burrow Sweet Burrow" instead of "Home Sweet Home".  The house was originally a haunted house but I left out the spooky stuff.  I thought it resembles the Burrow quite well  Cheesy

Here is a link to the quilt:  https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=436454.0

8  Diagon Alley Harry Potter Embroidered Quilt in Needlework: Completed Projects by felicitybaby on: October 29, 2014 07:18:39 PM
I made this quilt for a Harry Potter swap.  Each square is embroidered with a shop from Diagon alley.  I tried to make it look like the sign that would be hanging outside the shop door.
(image borrowed from knickertwist because her picture came out better!)

Here are close-ups of the individual square (I am so proud of all those tiny stitches!)

I finally got home from work before it was dark so I could take pictures of my goodies!  Knickertwist sent me some of her incredible miniatures and more!  Here is a group shot:

Now the details . . .
First is a divination cabinet:

Look at all those gorgeous details.  My favorite part is the little mushrooms on top but all of it is so cute  Wink

Next is a wand from Olivanders

I love wands!  It was made from a tree that was struck by lightening and has a troll hair core

I love the label on this bottle of Felix Felices

It still has a little bit of liquid luck left in it, I am saving it for a special occasion!

Knickers made me a mini book of monsters

(perfect for my American Girl doll to take to Hogwarts with her)

A flying key brooch

(only true HP fans will know the significance of this pin when I wear it!)

And a grumpy little mandrake root

I think I had this one pinned!  I love him!

And some yummy extras "Cauldron Candy"

Thanks so much for swapping with me!  I love everything and I had fun making yours too.  I love sharing with people who are obsessed with love HP as much as me!

Samsara, I love that Hufflepuff goblet and the wand--what is it made from?

I have received a most awesome package from honeyd!  When I opened the box I pulled out a box with a tiny marauder's map, chocolate frog box and text books.  I thought, oh cool--miniatures.   But then I opened the rest and then it hit me!

They are for my American Girl dolls!  Honeyd made me a Hufflepuff Hogwarts uniform and school supplies! (modeled here by Elizabeth--a british girl, of course)

The robe is so nicely made and the whole outfit fits perfectly!

Her sweet collared shirt and tie, knitted vest & scarf and pleated skirt are all so adorable.
Honeyd also sent hand-spun and hand-dyed alpaca yarn she made herself!  Amazing!  I am saving it for something special.  I forgot to get the tons of candy honeyd sent in my photo-taking excitement but they are all my favorites!  Honeyd, you'll laugh when you see the candy I sent you!  We do have the same sweet tooth!  Thank you so much for my package--I hope you will love yours just as much!
