1  Watercolour Christmas cards - Santa as a goddess in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by FoxyBlue on: November 04, 2017 01:25:06 PM
I decided this year to be untraditional with my Christmas cards. Well, for one, I actually did the art instead of just purchasing (don't know why I've never done this before!?) and I really wanted to embrace the divine feminine with this one. Instead of the fur on 'Santa's' hat, I did a floral crown, and instead of a pompom, I painted the moon because of how connected the divine feminine is with the lunar cycle. I uploaded the art  onto the Vistaprint website and will be receiving 50 cards by November 17th! What you're looking at is the proof that vistaprint gave me. That's how my art will look on the card and I love it! Can't wait to receive them and ship them out!

2  Pennywise the Clown painted pumpkin in Halloween Decor and Parties by FoxyBlue on: October 29, 2017 07:16:56 PM
For the last few years I've been all about painting my pumpkins. This year I naturally had to paint Pennywise. He was so much fun to paint! And the pumpkin is about 1.5' tall and weighs around 15-20 lbs!

Thanks for looking and happy Halloween!

I've been one busy girl. Still managing to find time to be creative every day, just not managing to share a lot here, so I thought I would pop in and share this little lady with you. She's watercolour with mixed media accents. Thanks for looking!

6  My recent watercolour portraits (somewhat pic heavy) in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by FoxyBlue on: March 22, 2017 09:57:49 AM
Some of the work I've done within the last couple of days. I've been so busy making dolls and I haven't had time to paint, so I managed to squeeze these in and had a lot of fun! The three kids are all my kids when they were about 1.5 years old, and the family portrait is a gift for the husband Smiley.

Thanks for looking!

I art journal every day. It's probably the most valuable thing I do as an artist. I learn so much and learn a little more every day to loosen up and just enjoy the process. Does anyone else art journal?

10  Grateful Dead's Jerry Garcia and his guitar Tiger in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by FoxyBlue on: December 15, 2016 10:28:50 AM
Another custom request. I just love all the random things people are asking of me this holiday season! I TOTALLY enjoyed making Mr. Garcia. I think I fell a little bit in love with that cool, quirky old guy. Smiley

He's 100% my design from the body to the clothes to the guitar. The grateful dead bear was hand painted.

Hope you enjoy!
