5  HOME SWEET HOME / Pet-Related Crafts: Completed Projects / Re: picnic dress on: September 30, 2008 12:01:05 PM
Sweet!  Did you use a pattern?  My toy poodle outgrew her puppy-sized pink tutu and I would love to make her more dresses but I've been kind of intimidated to attempt it because it seems like it would be kind of complex due to the body shape...  and I know she won't sit still for me to mess with her much.
Picnic dress is so cute!  It's like dorothy from Oz.

nope i made my own patterns i make dresses for family and friends dogs.  if u can measure your dog i can draw u up a basic pattern.

9  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Re: Is cotton fabric used for quilting the same as cotton dressmaking fabric? on: September 26, 2008 10:38:29 AM
no quilters cotton is a much thinner cotten it get sits stability from the batting thats placed between it when its quilted dressmaking cotten is thicker and the weave is tighter. u can use quilters cotton for making a dress but your going to want to use a interfacing to give it strength.
