A couple of extra images here - close ups of the Shining Force project. Apologies again for the lack of cam quality! Enjoy Cheesy

So cute Smiley

Excuse my dumbness, but do you keep needles in these lil books?
I think I made one out of felt when I was about 6 years old (its lost now though Sad ) and I wouldn't mind having one now.

How do you make them, and what sort of materials do you use?

Beautiful work! The sail boats are my favourite Cheesy And they look wonderful framed.

I hopes I'm not going off-topic here or anything but if you are wanting to do a video game project and you wanna use the old open-it-in-Photoshop-and-zoom-in method then try not to choose a huge image. The Shining Force one I did measured 189 x 214 pixels and, well it took a couple of months to do lol Cheesy
But of course, a challenge is always good ^^

Thanks for your comments!
I use sprites or small pics in a GIF or BMP format, open 'em in Photoshop and zoom right in! The Samus and the Shining Force one are done 1 cross = 1 pixel and I think I mentioned earlier about the FF sprites Smiley
Also I'm experimenting with Dark Lilac's chart generator (found at http://www.darklilac.com/upload.jsp )

Thankyou all so much for your kind words Smiley all the projects were a lot of fun to do, even though some of it was hard work (the Shining Force one especially :O )

alkalntrin: I did the FF5 mages from sprites, if I remember correctly it was 1 cross = 4 pixels (I'll have to check that lol)

Firstly can I just say hi to all as I'm new to these forums.
I used to cross stitch a long time ago but for some reason lost in the mists of time I gave it up. I recently rediscovered it and found it more fun than ever.
I made a few things and I'd like to show them here to see what other people think of them Cheesy (sorry about picture quality - had to use a webcam!)

FF5 style mages in bunches o four

Samus from Metroid (complete with creases lol)

Please let me know what you think Cheesy
