These are my first attempts at making some big[ger] necklaces and bracelets bending all the wire myself.

My attempt at Halloween-y earrings. idk how I feel about them =/

Pendants made out of rocks and wire I've had kickin around forever.

The black and white bracelet was actually made into the below necklace..

Pick says Rock'n' Roller Coaster

Thanks for lookin =]

12  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Misc. Gift Idea Brain Blockage / Cousin's present help? on: September 30, 2007 08:31:22 AM

I don't think I can delete posts though?
13  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Lotsa new stuff. Pic heavy! on: September 29, 2007 09:16:04 AM
I hope this goes here..

anyway. since I've been home sick I've had alot of time on my hands. I couldn't get out to the store for any chain or anything, so I ended up ripping apart a bunch of old bracelets for the beads to make something to hang some charms I had on until I can get chains.

sorry for the bad pics =[

Different shades/sizes of brown beads with a little bee charm

Really pale green and lavender beads

Clear heart charm thingymabob on the above bracelet

Hemp bracelet

Pale green and pinkish/yellowish beads with a silver horse charm

Pale green, green, and blue beeds with two pearls and a bird charm. one side of the charm is kind of weird with those little stone things in it, and the other side is just smooth and plain. it belonged to my nana, and the pearls belonged to my nana's mom.

bunch of different beads from a bunch of different bracelets. I was trying to make a bracelet for my mom but I don't really like it.

blue, white, and black beads. blue and white are two of my school's colors =D

beaded cherry earrings. I think they kinda look like green stick men with big red feet, lol

let's see.. the long/short and silver ball beads came off one necklace. the diamondycharmthing came off another necklace, and the purple and peachy beads came off yet another bracelet.

dreamcatcher necklace. I think this is my favorite.. I got the dream catcher from a necklace I bought years ago, but one of the feathers broke off.. so I added the bead droppy-things on each side of the remaining dreamcatcher and changed the chain.

thanks for looking =D

14  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Egg Baby! on: September 28, 2007 07:50:01 AM
So, I've been home sick for a week now and am starting to get EXTREMELY bored. And I can't believe I didn't think of this before.. I was just sitting at my desk when it hit me: Egg babies! =D Yay for being young at heart! [okay. I'm only 15, but still. =P]

Haha, okay. I'm sure some of you have heard/seen them before. I made this one years ago when my friend had to do hers for an 8th grade project. I was so sad I didn't have to do one when I was in 8th grade [she's older than me] so she made one with me, lol.

Basically, you take an egg and poke a hole in the top and bottom. You can use a needle or whatever as long as you're careful not to crack the egg. Then you blow out all the stuff that's inside the shell and let it sit for a while to make sure it's all dripped out. Then you can decorate it however you want. Mine has a happy and sad face and purple yarn hair with a little felt diaper. And it's survived for years without a single crack, I can't believe I still have it, lol. I'm totally going to try to make another one.. only decorate it better. Maybe next time my little cousins are around we can try to make some ^_^

Little fella' with his diaper.

Sad face.. just drawn with marker on his other side.

There's the hole in his bottom. I just stuck yarn through his top hole.

15  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Hannibal and a Baby? on: September 02, 2007 11:30:08 AM
OKay so. I usually just mess around and draw some cartoons and such but my dad bought me a drawing table and gave me his old pencils and everything, so I figured I'd try to draw something more serious.

I think they're pretty good for a first try =D

This is supposed to be my little cousin. He actually has tons of hair but I totally messed it up and decided he was going to be a little baby again. XD

And here is Hannibal. Am I the only one who thinks that the guy from Hannibal Rising is the sexiest thing ever? =P I'm not sure what those little hook things are and thought maybe I should take them off but they were in the picture I drew from, soooo. idk. XD
16  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Pressed Penny Necklace on: August 19, 2007 11:50:12 AM
After I saw the penny earrings [https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=96239.0] I had to try to do something with my own collection. My dad's asleep, so I couldn't ask him to help me with putting holes in them, so I decided to make a necklace.

It was really simple, and I think it turned out pretty cool.

It says "Extinction Is Forever" at the top, then has a picture of a manatee, and says "Manatee" at the bottom.
17  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Misc. Gift Idea Brain Blockage / Moving present? on: August 17, 2007 01:30:36 PM
Well, my friend is moving to a different county, which means different school. I want to give her something to remember me by [we'll still see eachother, but since I won't be going to her house almost every day after school anymore, I don't want her to be lonely at the new school Wink]

Anyway, thanks to this post
I wanted to give her a little "in the box" type thing.

I've decided to do 3 small boxes with things that we both like.

So far, I've got

Harry Potter:
- Some little quotes from the books in different colors
- A little mini trophy cup thing [Triwizard Tournament/Goblet of Fire]
- A deck of mini cards [kind of like tarot cards or whatever they're called?]
- Little wand
- Sorcerors stone
- A dementor =D

- A quote
- Pirates of the Caribbean skull and torches keychain
- 3 gold coins
- Starfish [ocean, I guess? lol]
- Key for Davy Jone's chest
- 3 bangle bracelets
- Some little diamond chain-type-things [treasure =D]

Silent Hill:
- A little drawn bunny, like the ones in the game
Game photo: http://photos3.flickr.com/2675090_ea36ef51ae_m.jpg
Mel's drawn bunny: http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb43/07schoolpics/Picture011.jpg

I don't know what else to add to them =[

18  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Charms for the kid in us all =D on: August 16, 2007 01:04:08 PM
So the other day I was pretty bored, and came across these little guys and made them into charms. I think I might put them on a charm bracelet and give them to my younger cousin when she comes to visit.

Also, I was going through some of the things I had from when my nana passed, and found a bunch of these little keys, and two bigger ones. I wore the necklace and earrings to school today to get my schedule, and then to cvs afterwards and got tons of compliments =D I was going to do something a bit more fancy, but I decided they look cool enough on their own, and everyone else seems to like them already =]

19  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / VHS cases and Patches? on: August 14, 2007 11:01:37 AM
My dad found some old patches.

Theres New York Fire Dept., New Jersey Fire Dept., and an Airforce set. I don't really want to put them on clothes or anything, idk. I want something original, if that makes sense? But if I can't think of anything, I was considering maybe putting them on a tote bag or something.

Also, I have a bunch of these old cases. They're kind of like cassette cases, I guess, but they're for vhs things. I'm not sure how to explain it.. Those old vhs tapes where you pop different things in them? I hope someone gets it =X Lol Anyway, the cases look like this -

20  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / First Project - Mp3 Case =D on: August 14, 2007 10:53:40 AM
I decided I needed a case to protect my MP3 player. I thought it'd be pretty easy, but I was so wrong. Lol, I guess because my MP3 [creative zen v] is smaller than an iPod, and since I'm not very experienced I was having difficulties trying to leave holes for the joystick and screen.

Instead, I decided to just make a little pouch -

here's my mp3 player, next to a pencil and pen for scale.

mp3 player, in it's new home =D

there's a little white button to keep it closed.
