I wanted to make a skirt one night from this divinely soft bed sheet that I had. So I did. After sewing it together backwards TWICE late one night, I finally got it together correctly. Lol! It has an elastic waistband, gathered skirt, and pockets. Here it is:

I wasn't too thrilled with the color choice but she was the customer.

lam strapless top (it's reversible for my pleasure he he)

hint of the pink side

all together

She loved it btw and it was really cute on her. I even slipped pockets in the skirt because I mean who doesn't love pockets?!

27  Bird and Flower Earrings in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by *KiSsEe_FaCe* on: September 14, 2007 09:47:48 AM
First off I would like to know if you think these things are obscenely tacky.  Now with that said, I love earrings, birds and kinetic jewelry.  And with these earrings I've combined all three.  Give em a look-see.

This is the entire earring.  It measures 4".  There is a flower hanging by the bird's face.

Thanx for looking. Please let me know what you think.

28  Just my luck earrings in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by *KiSsEe_FaCe* on: September 13, 2007 09:45:53 AM
I bought this cute bracelet yesterday with enameled horseshoes on it, BUT I don't wear bracelets.  Therefore I chopped it up and made these (sorry for the pix; I had to use my phone's cam):

The whole earring.  They are 5 inches from tip to tip.

The bottom with horseshoe charm.

The wonderful middle that I put together.

And the tops with kidney earwires.

The only things that I salvaged from the braacelet were the charms and a few of the beads.  They were pretty fun to make actually.  I hope you like it.  Maybe I can get my cam fixed and send better photos.

29  A couple of pouches I've made in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by *KiSsEe_FaCe* on: September 13, 2007 08:50:18 AM
Here are a few pix of two pouches I made.  One is a credit card holder keychain and the other is a clutch.

Credit card holder:

Here is the inside of it.  It is a patchwork vintage brown, yellow, and tan fabric.

The front with golden fabric at top and felt winking owl applique I made

Clutch with removeable handle:

front; fabric has colorful elephants on it and a red elephant applique

closeup of elephant applique and fabric

closeup of removeable handle with little blue elephant button attached.  The handle is just red felt (like applique) with white stitches in it.

The lining fabric is just plain red cotton and the trim is red with white polka dots.

Both bags close with velcro.

Anyway thanks for looking.  Lemme know what you think.

30  1st Attempt at Book Clutch AND I like the result in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by *KiSsEe_FaCe* on: September 13, 2007 08:09:19 AM
So I've been noticing all the wonderful book clutches around, and I just had to give it a try.  It only cost about $1.25 to make [book=$.50, linen shirt (outside)=$.50, and lining fabric=$.25].  I love this purse.

This is the front of the book with the buckle open.  The two jesters are pink and orange.

This is the inside of the clutch.  The fabric is a print of kids with animals and pink and orange balloons.

This is the side with the pink and orange plaid linen shirt.

The bottom. It reads Parody in silver lettering.

Book and buckle closed

That's it.  Well I hope you enjoy.  Please tell me what you think.
