1  Marilynn monroe dress from 6 old school shirts. in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by xyoung*craftiex on: March 17, 2008 11:56:37 AM
I am bloody impressed with myself for this.

I took 6 of my old school shirts (button up blouse) from year 7 ( i was aged about 11 or 12) andchopped them up!!!!! The backs(biggest bit of material) were sewn together with some ingenious pleating around the waist. Two of the front bits (the side without the pocket) became the top bit. An old top was cat up and sewn to make the waistband (seen in one of the pics).

It took me about 2 hours start to finish, which is pretty damn good considering i'm only 15! I'm about to go put it on and take some piccies, but i am so excited i had to upload these!!!
