31  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Freehand Baby Set Made With Scraps on: November 14, 2007 10:43:22 AM
Here is a baby set I made with leftover scraps. I didn't have a pattern, so I freehanded it.

32  CROCHET / Crochet: Discussion and Questions / Felted Crochet on: August 21, 2007 09:24:41 AM
Oh no! I may be addicted. I finally took the plunge and made 3 felted crochet projects this weekend. I made a handbag, a longish drawstring bag that would make a great gift bag for a wine bottle, and a crochet hook sheath. It was amazing how neat they looked when the were done. One thing though, I found I had to let them agitate 2 or 3 times longer in the washing machine to get the full shrinkage and felting possible. Is this normal, or is my hot water heater not set high enough, or does it vary by yarn type. ?
33  NEWS AND DISCUSSION ABOUT CRAFTSTER / Introduce Yourself / New here on: August 11, 2007 10:18:23 AM
I am new here, and I must say I appreciate the civility of these forums. I look forward to many happy swaps when my time as a newbie is up. I am interested in all crafts, right now doing a lot of collaborative journaling, quilting, crochet, atc's, etc.
34  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Discussion and Questions / Girl's Day Dolls on: August 09, 2007 04:06:47 PM
March 3 is Girl's day in Japan. There is a whole ritual involved with getting dolls for girls, and girls displaying the dolls, etc. Has anyone ever made any Girl's day dolls?
35  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Discussion and Questions / Collaborative Journaling on: August 09, 2007 10:43:37 AM
I am new here, and I appreciate the civility of this community. I am currently very involved in collaborative/altered journaling, and so far have had good luck with my projects moving right along from person to person, and have been blown away by the results. Who here is also into collaborative/altered journaling?
