Here is the fabric pack I received from sinisterbutterfli.  Sorry it has taken me so long to post pictures.  I especially love the coffee/sweets flannel and the matching stripe that goes with it!  Thanks.

I apologize for not getting these pics up earlier.  I also apologize if I mix up any names.  I have tried very hard to get them straight, but may make a mistake.

Thank you everyone who sent me squares.  I really appreciate it!

For Lourapalmr (Frolic Variation block from the McCall's Quilting website)

For 1boy1girl1kitty2 (the same Frolic Variation block although the similar fabrics make it a little more challenging to see the pattern.  It is interesting though.)

The rest of my blocks are done with a pattern I saw somewhere, but can't remember where.  I ended up re-writing it from memory to do these.  If you know where it is from, please chime in.

Southern Flower (I cannot get over how much I love your fabrics!)

Here are the rest of the blocks I have not posted yet.  Correct me please if I mix up any names.

Here is a picture of all of my blocks together:

I finished three more blocks over the weekend.  I've been using the week 4 tutorial of the quilt-a-long on http://crazymomquilts.blogspot.com/  I like it and each block gets faster and easier to do.  I originally cut lukenlarry's to be the same block, but it just didn't look good when I laid it out so I rearranged it to what it is now.  I have a couple more cut and ready to sew up.

I received from ThreadOrYarn a fews days ago and I am just now getting around to posting pictures.  She claimed me for handspun yarn and cotton squares for my postage stamp quilt.  She sent a natural-colored yarn.  (Is it possible to dye it?  I have never tried that before.)  I am super excited as I have never had anything handspun before.  It feels so fancy.  Here is a pic.

The postage stamp squares are a mix of all kinds of colors and designs which is great.  It is amazing how many squares you have to collect to make anything of a decent size!  My favorites are the yellow one with little flowers, the purple one with hexagons, and the dark blue one at the top with white flowers on it.

Thank you so much, ThreadOrYarn!!!

Here are two blocks I made out of my own fabric to see what they would look like.  I haven't squared them up yet.  The first one was inspired by a picture I saw somewhere that I can't remember and the second one is called Box Quilt from quilterscache.  The second one was my first attempt ever at triangles.  They didn't end up with points like they are supposed to, but at least they are all the same! Wink

9  Re: Lap Quilts for All Swap (USA only) II: Summer [CLOSED] in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by critterpants on: April 15, 2008 12:47:32 PM
Here are my fabrics.  The picture of course isn't quite as true to color as in real life and you can hardly see the patterns, but it is fun all the same.  There are five fabrics, two blue, one green, two yellow and one white with yellow flowers.  There is a shadow in between the two blues and it is not another fabric.  Plus, who cares if they are perfect, it's my birthday so everything is fine today! Cheesy  I have had my eye on that green fabric at the store for a long time.  Now I had an excuse to buy it!  I will be sending out later this week if everything goes as planned.
