2  My new Christmas wreath in Winter Holidays by momma2many on: November 13, 2011 10:38:23 PM
We have moved 4 times in the last year thanks to the Army  (7 more months and he will retire after 30 years!!!!).  My Christmas decorations are stuck in storage so I get to start over with all of my Christmas decor.  My dd and I have decided that a Grinch colored Christmas would be our theme this year and today we made a Wreath.  I followed a tutorial I found on the internet to make a deco mesh wreath with a work form.  I was unable to a work form in this area so I made my own with a wire wreath form from Hobby Lobby and pipe cleaners.  we plan on making quite a few decorations for the tree but I also bought a few to get us started.

3  ACU purse out of hubby's uniform in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by momma2many on: November 13, 2011 10:20:56 PM
I have not had time to sew or craft in a while but I needed a fix.  I made this from my Husband's uniform that he accidentally washed with an ink pen in the pocket, and some scraps from my stash.  Now my son wants me to use one of his uniforms to make one for his grandma.  I guess it will be ACU purses for everyone for Christmas.

4  witch with a serious need for a nap! in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by momma2many on: November 02, 2009 07:03:23 AM
well i made a pettiskirt and corset for dd for Halloween.  I had tried all day to get her to take a nap but she was just too excited so when it came time to trick or treat she had a sour face and looked more like Wedensday Adams, lol.  DS picked out a zombie outfit from Kmart, he had a blast!

at least she smiled a little

6  Halloween BOOtique farbenmix Vida in Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects by momma2many on: October 02, 2009 10:01:17 PM
I am loving Farbenmix patterns, this one is Vida and is perfect for applique and a total blank canvas to let your imagination run wild.  the cuff are marabo sewn onto elastic so they are removable.  the leggins are just witch tights from the halloween section at walmart that I cut off the feet and serged a lettuce edge around the bottom.  The bow has maraboo in the center and skull ribbon with crystals fgor the eyes.  I used the halloween BOOtique design set from swak embroidery and the front says Never enough shoes with a supe cute pair of witch shoes on it, and the Back says BOOtique.

7  toadstool backpack action shot added in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by momma2many on: August 14, 2009 02:09:44 PM
It is back to school time and my daughter is off to kindergarten.  I have made this adorable backpack from a Melly and me pattern.  if you frequent threadbange you may have seen it there, They have asked me if they could feature it on the back to school episode.  I wasnt too original with the fabric.  my daughter wanted it to look just like the one on the pattern with more flowers. so off to my scrap stash and an old sheet and 1 adorable backpack.

she wouldnt let me take her to school she begged me to let her ride the bus, but here is the promised action shot

I have been working on redecorating my daughters room in a princess theme and it really needed a chandelier!  I found an old light (ugly brass thing) and saw the potential in it and since it was only a dollar I thought I would give it a try! She absolutely loves it!  I have a sort of tute on my blog here http://1craftymomma.blogspot.com/2009/04/crystal-chandelier-for-your-princess.html

10  Re: fool proof fail safe waffles in Recipes and Cooking Tips by momma2many on: March 29, 2009 11:42:59 AM
You can make these in a regiular waffle iron and freeze the leftovers.  You will never want store bought waffles again! http://itsmellsgoodinhere.blogspot.com/2009/03/yummy-yummy-belgian-waffles.html
