hi everyone,

[img width=500 height=200]http://mysite.verizon.net/vze3k6kg/joodito36.jpg

in your most honest opinion,
which best describes your feelings for JOODITO ?

1. this is style.

2. over the top, this belongs in a museum somewhere...

3. seen better at the mall.

4. i like it, but it's not for me.

22  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / JOODITO made a dress ! on: November 01, 2007 08:22:14 AM
hi everyone   Cheesy

first of, i would like to thank everyone who took the time to comment on my previous posts.
you offered some original ideas for future projects.your generosity is sincerely appreciated, thank you.

i wanted to share my attempt at a babydoll mini...ruffle, mismatched buttons and belt

(actually, i debated between a hood and a high collar...
alas, the collar won because i though it would make the look more unique)

here's another project with the incorporation of stripes,  (gold and raw denim) ...

a signature;  epaulets and modified kanga pocket.

23  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / JOODITO something femme, sans high collar ! on: October 25, 2007 07:56:00 PM
hi everyone!

i completed something sans high collar, as promised.
... something a lil less 'androgynous',  a lil more femme.

how do you feel about extra deep hoods? Roll Eyes

... alas, here's 2 signature creations.
one cozy plush,
other semi-structured.

i am thinking of working with a retro-meets-future look,
something victorian-esque, yet modern.
(thank you, PerfectEquation).

what alternate styles would you like to see?
  ...........Huh    Huh

24  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / JOODITO military, trenches, high collars... and a reconstruction on: October 18, 2007 06:21:33 PM

hi everyone!

i am officially trench obsessed!
i usually design as i piece these together,
it's interesting to see how some
evolve into something so unexpected.    Smiley

i found this sweet vintage Paris University sweatshirt,
the shape was downright fugly.
i paired it with a blue top (same shade as the outline of lettering)!
what do you think of my reconstruction?

PLEASE name me a style i can experiment with next     ?!

25  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / JOODITO military-esque trenches. on: September 09, 2007 10:28:27 AM

hi loves,

i wanted to share with you
my recent completion of trench-inspired
asymmetrical zipped jackets

i've injured my finger on the singer
and consequently found time to work on my myspace.
let's be friends!     Cheesy

26  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / JOODITO color-block obsession. on: September 03, 2007 11:12:57 PM

27  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / JOODITO like clouds .... and then some on: August 15, 2007 01:21:30 PM
hi everyone !

i've been happily slaving away at the singer.   Cheesy

YOU know i love playing with collars
...  here is a collage of projects
     for your viewing pleasure.   Smiley

i would like to know which is your fave,
your hometown, and age (if you don't mind sharing).

I am de-virginized from my newbie status!
direct image posting, YAY!

28  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / JOODITO more HIGH COLLARS ... and a hood. on: August 05, 2007 08:24:11 AM

hi guys!

i'm going to share 3 other completed works.   Cheesy

yup, i'm still considered a newbie here,
until my 10th successful post ...
meaning links only (no direct image posting YET).
i'm sorry for the inconvenience.     Undecided

o, i doooooooo  adore high collars.
all shapes and sizes.   Roll Eyes
(the hooded one is probably is my only non-high collar project, ever).

also! these are born from salvaged materials,
all chopped up into a million pieces.
still considered RECONSTRUCTED?
or would these fall into another category?

thanks for looking everyone.

ps.  i made my first fabric covered button last night.  i am addicted.

29  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / JOODITO patchwork creatures . on: August 02, 2007 03:19:31 PM
hi everyone !

basically, i have yet to build
my own screen-printing system

... and the thought of cutting stencils
turns me off.

this is an alternative to screen-prints.
PATCHWORK  !   Cheesy

this was made during my obsession with silly creatures,
i thought a trail of  doo -pie would make them
the more amusing.

first, i drafted these creatures on paper,
then pinned the stencil to fabric and cut away.
spray adhesive  + more pins .... then off the to Singer.

thanks for looking .    Cheesy

(since i'm a newbie here,
these images can only be viewed via the links below.  i'm sorry).

30  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / JOODITO calling all HIGH COLLAR lovahs ! on: August 02, 2007 02:50:13 PM
hi everyone !  Smiley

just wanted to post some photos
of projects i recently completed.

these were made from salvaged materials
(mostly XXL tees, super long nightgowns,
scrappie  remnants...).

i envy those of you who are able to
produce such precise tutes !
i create by experimenting mostly...
and more than likely never able to replicate the process.  Huh
    it's quite pathetic.

please enjoy.  questions will be happily answered, of course.   Cheesy

(since i'm a newbie here,
images can only be viewed via links below,  i'm sorry).
