Do they need any more hats...I've gotten the grasshopper knotty hat bug https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=219583.0 really bad, and CAN'T STOP!

most hospitals are always willing to take donations Smiley i just figured a childrens hospital was nice because the kids go through so much on a day to day basis that a little cheering up could do no harm Smiley

Hey Everybody, and Happy Obama Day!!! (Although I'm not American Im still excited Tongue)

This is a project Ive been working on for the past few months. We were given a project in my leadership class to do something good for the community, to make others happy, etc. etc. and I decided to make hats for the childrens hospital. It really makes you realize everything you do have in life when you do something nice for someone else.

So in October I began making hats. I made tons of hats. Somehow a box of the hats went missing and that was slightly depressing. My initial goal was 150 hats before Christmas. I know that the box that was missing had around 80 in it, and I donated around 120. I must have completed my goal then Wink I was so proud of myself and the woman at the hospital was over the moon with my donation. She told me I donated the perfect amount because they had around 100 kids that stayed at the hospital and 20 that went to the clinic. This made me really happy, and I hope it made the kids happy too.

I really hope to do this again perhaps, but right now I need to work on my store, and stuff for this summer for a car show. Anyways, enough rambling, heres some pics (: (:

working on the hats

some of the hats

my cat with the hats

the cat again

and again

not even half the hats, i was too lazy to get them all out

a heart! <3

caught off guard?

waiting for the lady to come down

I guess thats about it... I had fun doing this project, and truly do hope to do it again Smiley
