I'm still hoping that my package to instantkarma shows up, but I'm going to re-make and send out this week.  Sad Damn post office. Well, one can never have too many tiny things.

I actually got the fabric at Urban Outfitters - it was a tapestry on clearance!

My original partner ended up not being able to complete the swap for personal reasons, but she did end up sending the things she managed to make and I got it a few weeks ago.

https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?action=post;topic=224361.70;num_replies=76Aaaaaaaaand, here is the stuff I sent to k^2!

So, she wanted useful things...scarves are useful! I embroidered a cupcake and an alligator on it because those are things she likes...and things that like each other.

Socks are also useful! Nautical themed!

She mentioned wanting stationary to send to friends so I made "lovely love letters"

And I threw in some extras like gel clings for the window:

Here are the things I received from k^2!

A robot heart stuffie! This is great, because I pretty much talk about robots all of the time.

An adorable red satiny heart pouch!

Finally, a great little bag that I haven't stopped carrying since I got it!

Thanks so much k^2!

I'm posting pics of all the great swap goodies I got from Tuesday!

First, a fantastic collection of little owlies...they chill on my window by my couch and look at me all the time with their little button eyes. Nothing is actually pink in the photo, nor is that owl in the front missing an eye...my camera and I have to have a talk.

Second, two owl greeting cards where the owls are made out of sheet music...secretly, I'm just going to hang these on my wall and never send them.

Then, these gorgeous owl wall plaques that I can stop lusting over...they are so fantastic!

Finally, these adorable owl bobby pins that I haven't stopped wearing since I got them:

Thanks so much, Tuesday!

I've been terribly bad and not posted pictures of all the lovely things that laminathegreat made me! Is there some sort of appropriate steampunk punishment for me?

First, these really great crocheted wrist cuffs - a really pretty soft greyish color, with buttons for me sew on so they fit exactly:

An absolutely incredible steampunk poppet named Victoria - this is amazing, and I lovelovelove it!!! It's earned a spot of honor on my shelf next to my piggy bank.

Hand-carved gear stamps!

She also included some assorted patches that her grandmother gave her that have a steampunk feel:

And some shower stick-ups that have a steampunk feel:

Yours should be getting there any day now, can't wait for you to get it!!

Alright, I picked up my package from the post office Saturday - prepared to be blown away by littlehajerika's amazing forest friends crafting skills.

First, an adorable green needlebook with a little racoon on the front. I have been really needing one of these and this one is perfect!!!

Then two pairs of embroidered undies, which I am feeling really torn about because I really need to do laundry...so I should wear these...but they are so adorable I want to frame them!!! Especially the little foxie which is to die for.

Then this incredible plaid scarf that is just like one on my wists only 9000 times cooler because it has a chipmunk embroidered on it! For some reason, my camera insisted on making it look pink which it is not...

Aaaand a really cute embroidered inchie pin, with a hedgie and a tree, which is also not pink...I really need to have a talk with the camera.

Plus, an adorable stationary set and candy!!!

I have to keep reminding myself not to send anything besides the item...it's always so tempting! I'm on the third incarnation of my item right now, something keeps going wrong!
