1  UNITED STATES / Indiana / Downtown Indy crafters and/or knitters? on: August 19, 2007 09:40:38 AM
Hi everyone!

I just moved to Indy, and am looking for other people to get my craft on with. Does anyone know of any groups that meet downtown, or would anyone be interested in starting something? I don't have a car, so a location relatively close to public transit would be fantastic.
2  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Nautilus Hat! on: May 13, 2006 06:50:57 AM
I found this pattern a while back, and fell in love with it. I used Debbie Bliss cotton dk (which is great stuff, btw).

3  KNITTING / Projects from the Stitch 'N B**ch Books by Debbie Stoller / Silliness! - based on "Hot Head" on: February 19, 2006 12:17:17 PM
I live in upstate NY, and the coldness just will not quit! Therefore...

Made of exactly one skein of Katia Nepal, in the largest size (22") indicated in the pattern. If anyone else makes it this way, with this yarn, you could do a little less than the 35 ribbed rows - mine's a wee bit long (like maybe 1/2", not bad). Also, though my head measures 22", I could have gotten away with doing the 21" version. I probably could have figured all this out if I had swatched ahead of time, but I am rather bad about these things Tongue
4  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Birth Control Holder/Cosy/Wallet/Thingy on: October 30, 2005 12:13:52 PM
Hey everyone - I've been lurking on the forums forever, but have never posted anything - until today!

I made a fabric holder for my credit-card-style birth control pills. Made up the pattern as I went along, and finished all the edges with pre-made bias trim. The herringbone fabric is denim Smiley

A real basic bag, cotton prints, finished dimensions 16"x16".
