2  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Yay! Design your own renaissance-y shirt! on: September 03, 2004 09:47:27 PM
I LOVE this shirt Wink
Made w/ simplicity pattern 5479
jr. D.Y.O. (design your own)

I used a lightweight burgundy velvet I found in my fabric pile.. the most fabric needed on this thing is for the sleeves.
but you can make smaller sleeves Smiley
It has ties in the back so Im thinking it would be a super cute maternity look shirt for a preggo friend of mine .. so Im off to make more!  Grin Cheesy Cheesy

LMK what you think Smiley

ITs a rough product.. no frills but I like it plain!

4  CLOTHING / Shoes: Completed Projects / .99 goodwill shoes makeover*fixed link on: August 24, 2004 11:08:01 AM
These were new Smiley Still had the tags on them! Shocked I found them at the goodwill for .99! But I didnt know what to do w/ them. Im not a big sandal person but snagged them anyway !
I was messing around last  night and thought about the interior of the sandal(the underside of the top) was funky island color stripes..
So I grabbed some fabric paint and went to town..
The van look alikes inspired me ! So thanks to that OP !
Here they are !~

PS Sorry I havent painted my nails again LOL .. as you can see im SO not a sandal person!

ITs just a clear sparkley covering. its also been called fairy dust ?
Id like to make some to put on chokers or armbands etc..
stitch them on by hand ..
If any one has any idea what this stuff is called or how to do this PLEASE post! I really appreciate it ! Kat  Undecided
