41  ...the only prescription is more cowbell! in Other Image Reproduction Techniques: Completed Projects by angelwing75 on: December 01, 2004 06:53:42 PM
I made my husband this cool SNL skit-inspired iron-on tee.  Fun!

P.S. I just wanted to clarify that the grammatical error is Christopher Walken's and not mine!  Ha ha!

43  Purple Hearts Cuddly Baby Blanket in Crochet: Completed Projects by angelwing75 on: November 17, 2004 05:32:28 AM
Here's the latest baby blanket I've crocheted.  You can't really tell from the pics, but the little puffs make the most adorable heart shapes!  I made it as a baby shower gift and now I'm so sad that I have to give it away!!

Here's mine!  I'm working on a second one now in similar (more masculine) colors.  It's a pretty easy beginning project, but it does get kind of boring after a while.   Wink

45  Re: Movie Knits in Knitting: Discussion and Questions by angelwing75 on: November 14, 2004 05:52:07 PM
I was watching an episode of "Degrassi: The Next Generation" on The N the other day and Emma was wearing few different knit/crochet pieces.  (Sorry for the blurry pics!)

And here's one from "Joan of Arcadia" - you can't tell that well, but Joan is wearing a supercute aqua scarf.

Those are gorgeous!  I'm amazed at your patience!  Being the impatient type myself (actually, more of the corner-cutting slacker type), I just used spray adhesive to cover a pair of cheap pumps with shiny, sparkly red fabric (1/4 yard).  All in all, it only cost me just under $7 to make a pair of "ruby slippers" to go with my Dorothy costume for Halloween.  They're super sparkly (you can't tell from the picture) and they won't leave a trail of glitter wherever I go.  Yay!

And here they are in action:

47  Baby Shower Gift Wagon in Baby Showers And Gifts For New Babies by angelwing75 on: August 12, 2004 11:48:57 AM
My favorite thing to do for baby showers is gift "baskets," except without putting the stuff in a real basket.  The most fun is to pile up inexpensive, cute gifts in something fun and functional, like this plastic toy wagon, which can hold baby's stuffed animals and toys until he's big enough to play with it.

48  79 Handbag from Tank Top (added tutorial) in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by angelwing75 on: July 27, 2004 08:47:43 PM
This is my first post!  Yay!

Here's a picture of a little bag I made from a little girl's tank top.

Here's the tank:

It's not perfect, but I think it's cute.   Smiley  (I don't think the pictures came out too well, though!)
