I stenciled this regular joe blue t-shirt awhile back, but never wore it so as I was going thru my closet looking for something to wear I came across it and decided to revamp it. I stenciled the front..chopped up the neck line, added the black fabric..chopped off the bottom hem, added that black fabric and TADA! new shirt for school tommorow Smiley

*oh and since photobucket is being..stupid..i put them on yahoo*

6  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / My first card :) on: September 04, 2004 11:32:37 AM
Yesterday was a friend of mine's birthday and i'm broke Sad So i decided to make a super pretty card crafted with love!

It's cardstock paper with some fabric I had sewn on, then the white strip and ribbon is made from a t-shirt

Everyone loved it and all asked for a homemade card for their birthdays too *hooray* But this picture just doesn't do it justice. [I took the picture in the car on the way to my friend's house, maybe that's why : P]
7  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / resizing denim? on: September 04, 2004 10:55:04 AM
I have this denim jacket that i've had for awhile, but never wore because it's a large and i'm a small. so now I want to make it more fitted, would the process be the same as resizing a long sleeve button-up shirt? Or would it be different because it's denim?
8  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Help..Preeetty please? on: August 07, 2004 05:54:45 PM

10  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / First skirt from scratch! AND first outfit* on: July 31, 2004 09:14:11 AM
Edit (8-2): I discovered that all my white tops looked a little too plain to wear with this skirt, so I made this to complete my very first outfit

Well after my very first t-shirt surgery, I was feeling pretty confident..not to mention addicted..so I headed out to Wal-mart and found this cute fabric (What's even better was that it was only $2 a yard!) And after a few days of on and off sewing this is the result...

Little pleat-ish things along the bottom:

*The skirt looks REALLY pink in this one*
Close up of the pleat-ish things:

Side zipper:

...And that's all she wrote Smiley
