1  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Re: reindeer spoons on: November 16, 2007 04:30:08 AM
What a great idea to make for hanging in the kitchen at Christmas!  I've seen the ice cream spoon reindeer pins, but this is a new spoon idea that I like too.  Thanks for sharing it!
2  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Re: Christmas Cards... I mean ornaments. on: November 16, 2007 04:27:15 AM
This is another neat thing I can add to my list that cards can be used for.  These are beautiful (and so easy to make)!  I appreciate you giving us the idea.  I have a huge list of ideas for gifts that I share with others too.  That way everyone can have fun!
3  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Winter Holidays / Re: Vintagy ornaments (tut added on the page 4) on: November 16, 2007 04:17:25 AM
These do look like they would sell like hotcakes.  I use all kinds of things to recycle into crafts for funding.  You've just given me another use for those tiny scraps of fabric I have left over from all my other projects.  Great idea, Thanks!
4  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: Rainbow Bright and the color kids on: October 30, 2007 09:02:56 PM
Your costumes are bright and fun looking for a band, but I still like the old stand by...a white paper plate with the eyes, nose and mouth cut out of it.  A rubber band will hold it on your head.  You can decorate the plate to fit any costume.  I know I'm plain, but it works for me!
5  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Re: Any ideas for dog show ribbons? on: October 30, 2007 08:41:27 PM
Put a few of them in a shadow box picture frame and hang in a prominent   place in your home.  No one thinks more of your animal than you.  Add a picture of your pet near the framed ribbons. Show them both off!
6  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Re: You know you're a craftster when... (part THREE!) on: October 30, 2007 08:35:04 PM
Thanks for opening a new thread...You know you're a craftster when everyone you know comes to you instead of going to the big W to find ribbon, felt and other items needed for crafting!
7  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Re: where to get large foam sheets? on: October 30, 2007 08:25:48 PM
I've never seen it on a roll before, but furniture stores have very large sheets, and pieces of foam, that they put in their dumpsters every day.  I needed some to make an iceberg display, and found plenty that fit my need!  Our class had several icebergs that the kids could sit on, and climb over.
8  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: Halloween Help on: October 29, 2007 03:31:51 PM
Asking for an easy costume?... use garbage bags!  White ones for a ghost, or black ones for a bad creature!  Have fun, as I always do with loads of ideas for this time of year!
9  Halloween / Halloween Decor and Parties / Re: Halloween Office! (img heavy) on: October 27, 2007 04:16:51 PM
Your office is a hoot!  That was the only thing missing...the big eyed hoot owl!  Great ideas!!
10  Halloween / Halloween Decor and Parties / Re: Halloween Aprons on: October 27, 2007 04:12:25 PM
Your aprons are really cute, and I know your nieces like them.  I make a lot of aprons with clearance fabric after each holiday through the year.  I enjoy making all kinds of homemade things to use around the house.
