13  Angel-esque Design For My Brother!(Gordo Images) in Stenciling: Completed Projects by MinorPunk56 on: May 11, 2008 08:48:45 AM
So I got this design on deviant art.  I made myself a patch on some black cotton weave and guys, bont even try.  stick to doing stencils on knits.  Unless you're really smart.
Anyway, his came out a ton times better than mine.  The paint wouldnt smooth evenly(I gobbed on a ton!  The top left probably has the most paint on it than anything else and its still so light!  it didnt bleed either, so I'm totally lost!), so it got this weird marbled look, but its ok coz we decided we like it more this way!

Action shot(Hes actually a very attractive boy, i dont know why he made this face)

In review:
Deviant Art Dot Com stencil
Freezer Paper
Black shirt
Tulip fabric paint.

You can make tupli look good if you smooth it evenly and thin-ish-ly.  If you gob it on like puff paint, it will crack and chip off.  So you can make it look legit.  Use one of those little foam brushes.

14  I Think I Look Like Scenester Steve in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by MinorPunk56 on: April 02, 2008 03:28:33 PM
So this is pretty much the same colors of the shirts that the first guy from Blues Clues wore.

My bro gave me this pretty neat shirt and said it didn't fit him well and I could have it.  I was thinking about making a hooded halter since I don't own any halters, but i decided this is more my style and i can turn this into a halter later if I please.  I took lots of instructional pictures if y'all want a tute.
Before( I was too lazy to rotate, sorry!)

This is me saying "want to see me work some magic?"

30 Minuites Later...

Glamour Shot!

Thanks for looking!

15  One Pair Jean Skirt~!Oceanically Huge Pics in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by MinorPunk56 on: March 11, 2008 02:41:08 PM
So I wanted to make myself a jean skirt because I had just bought myself some amazingly cute red and black herringbone leggings.  So I threw this together in a few hours.  The longest bit was the pleating.

17  My Mommy's Chemo Poppet! in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by MinorPunk56 on: February 14, 2008 05:32:46 PM
So I made my mom a poppet to take with her to chemo...It's made from a very washed sweatshirt of her mothers(my grandmother).  The fabric was a knit, but not too stretchy.  The body is 75%, the tail i s100%, and the arms are 90%(they wouldn't turn in size 75%)  I just got the eyes from  sweets4ever today and i ran around the house doing this, "I got eyes" sing song(middle-eastern accent, mind you) dance.  I'm probably gonna put hair on her.  Eventually.  I really like it, personally.  Oh yeah!  This is my first poppet, too!  The pics dont show the color very well...its more like a mauve-pink color.

Kinda reminds me of Mew from pokemon....or is it Mewtoo?

EDIT:  I've since been told it's Mew...and her eyes really aren't that uneven...its just my bad photography.

18  Ellen Page (Juno) Toronto Premiere Shirt Help? in Clothing: Discussion and Questions by MinorPunk56 on: February 02, 2008 02:14:32 PM
So I was looking at pics from the premiere of Juno in Toronto and I totally fell in love with the shirt that Ellen Page is wearing.  I was wondering if you guys new of a pattern that is similar or if some outstandingly generous person would be willing to draft one...

I think it's really a dress....but if I was to make one, I'd make it a top....I don't do dresses.

Most definitely post them!!!!!

So i finally took pictures!  They're kinda huge...sorry!
I didn't rotate them either...last time I did that, they made me look fat on all computers except for my friend's iMac.

Flatfoot 56 patch, edged by star studs.

A company called Rockwell Merchandise screened this for me at Cornerstone Music Festival!  I love it!

Front Right lapel!  I just put those in last night!

Swing dancers patch I made.  My BF and I swing dance all the time, so this was necessary!  Sorry its so blurry!

This is the stencil I used.

Big Straight Edge logo on the inside.  The black is just sharpie.

Left front right in my heart.  Pro-Life stuff is important to me...

Under the collar, also lined in sharpie.

Thats my baby!
