3  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Father's Day / Re: Gift for a 'homesteading' dad? on: June 18, 2010 11:03:24 AM
Hey, that's my dream too!  Nice!  I made my friend a country-sytle classic cross-stitch, with "Homestead Sweet Homestead", it would also look good as a woodburned plaque.  Thing about homesteading is that most everything is recycled stuff or made from natural materials.  Perhaps you could peek at some of the books and get a head start?  Like making him a useful item from one of them.  I'd tell ya where to begin but the options are endless.  Home-made rain barrel? Compost buckets? A sign to hang on an outhouse?

4  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Re: Link Plushie on: January 07, 2010 07:54:04 PM
OOOhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh amazing!  He is PERFECT!!!  *swoon!!*  I've been in love with Link since I was 7 (the ideal brave knight in not-so-shiny-but-supercool-and-earthy armor!) and see absolutely no reason to stop at this point, lol.

You did an incredible job, and the hair looks awesome!  You're so cool! Lucky one your son is!!!  This ROCKS!!

5  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Re: A little monster loves you... on: January 07, 2010 07:05:07 PM
That is ADORABLE...and YEAAAH SAM AND MAX SHOUTOUT!!! Also Day of the Tentacle!  Sam and Max got re-invented as (more) sordid characters in later series, but the original is still the best! Good on ya!

Hey!  There are good mass-coworker ideas here:  https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=140952.00

I think ...."in a jar" is always good for mass production.  Man stuff huh?  How about a jar of a BBQ spice rub?  Or make bottles of homemade sauce/marinade?  And no one doesn't like baked goods!!
9  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: Brakbrakbrak on: October 09, 2009 12:09:10 PM
FTR, that is amazing.  I have had the biggest crush on Brak for about 10 years now.  Sad, cuz I'm 27, which means I fell in love at a ripe age to begin with, lol.  I cannot explain it.  But forgive me in advance for saying the Sexy Brak on the Couch picture is my new favorite thing.  LOL.  I actually got my drawing I sent in of a sexy girl brak with a love letter put up on SGC2C.  <3333
