2  COOKING / Dessert / Re: pop tarts :D WITH RECIPE! on: August 21, 2009 08:07:44 AM
OMG these look SO much better than real poptarts!  Homemade pastry and icing and YUM!  Poptarts are always dry and never have enough filling, but these look like little pockets of pastry heaven!
3  UNITED STATES / North Carolina / Re: Anyone in Fayetteville? on: June 24, 2009 06:59:28 AM
I'd imagine the chances that this thread is still active are slim to none, but I'll give it a shot.
I just moved here two weeks ago with the boy and am still unpacking (and getting the craft room setup!).  I sew, knit, make jewelry, play with clay...like someone else said, I have crafter's ADD.  I do a little bit of everything.
We haven't been here long enough to make a judgement call (and are trying to keep an open mind).  We came here from Michigan and so far, NC is *far* better.  Fayetteville is sort of like a giant Hinesville (GA).
Anyway, I thought I'd say hi. I was looking for craft fairs in which to participate, but the only one I can find is the Holly Day show that the Junior League organizes, but I don't have $600 for the booth fee.

The glow in the dark star bracelet is cool.  The safety pin one, too!
I like your interpretation of Untamed Menagerie's Thoracic:http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=19991830

Go to a thesaurus, input "fabulous," and there you have all the words that describe these flowers.  I love them!

This is gorgeous!  But, I don't know anything about the technique.  Can you explain?  Smiley Thanks and great work!
9  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: Out of season, Da de Muertos altar (A LOT OF PICS) on: January 13, 2009 04:26:02 PM
OMG this is absolutely amazing! I LOVE it.  You did a fantastic job and you and your friends should be incredibly proud of that.
10  CROCHET / Crochetalongs / Re: Daisy Square-along - Free pattern! on: August 15, 2008 03:41:57 PM
Those are too cute.  Smiley  As far as color order is concerned, I'd say either go rainbow-order or by complementary colors.  So, pink-orange-green-blue-purple or purple-pink-green-orange-blue.  purple and pink aren't complements, I know, but I think it'd look better next to the pink than the also-cool blue.  just my 2c.
