2  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Hidden in plain site! Cat litter cabinet on: February 07, 2009 04:09:22 PM
This is a wonderful idea. I am going to be moving to a new apartment soon and the half bath is at the doorway with no cupboards for a cat box my dog likes to eat the poo very gross. I thought about looking for some junk remodel cabinets for under the sink. I really like this cabinet depending on how thick the doors are i might be able to bypass the cat door my kitty can open the cabinets on his own.  Very clever.

4  HOME SWEET HOME / Pet-Related Crafts: Completed Projects / Re: Super Easy Cat Mats W/ Attached Toy (with tute) on: November 18, 2007 12:18:57 PM
I made a mat for a window table i have for my kitty. I took 2 pieces of felt sewed them together and filled with a about 10 or so plastic bags. My cat loved laying on it but most of the crinkle sounds went away after a few months, i ended up throwing it away since it was a hair collecting magnet and not very washable with bags inside. Oh well it was super cheap to make. I like your kitty mats i should make one out of fleece since my cat likes laying in my fleece jacket. You know what else would be cool to is to use an old sweater and make it into rectangle, then sew that together for a bed i bet that would be super warm as well.
5  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing Machines: Discussion and Questions / Re: Is my machine broken? on: July 26, 2007 02:35:24 PM
I have that same sewing machine too. Mine was and still does give me problems once in awhile i always determine the thread comes out of the arm piece (don't know what it is called). I am not that experienced with the sewing machine but thought i would add something anyway. I know how it feels when the machine goes haywire.  Hope you can solve the mystery.
