1  Henna! in Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions by sahrahbobahrah on: February 23, 2008 04:02:16 PM
This is my first post on this board, so hi everyone!

All right, so this isn't something that I did on my own, but I thought I'd share anyways. I was actually visiting some relatives in India just a few weeks ago. My aunt took me to get some henna done (professionally! eep!) and it came out looking really nice.

Sadly, it completely faded a few weeks later. But it was awesome while it lasted!

2  incredible. in Clothing: Discussion and Questions by sahrahbobahrah on: February 22, 2008 11:16:22 AM
Okay, so this most definitely is not something that I'm planning on making, seeing as my clothing making skills are severly limited....but I just thought I'd share with you guys the amazing dress Kiera Knightley wears in Atonement.

I know Kiera gets a lot of criticism for how thin she is, but the dress is incredible and I think she looks fabulous in it.

What are your opinions on it? Do you think you could ever make something like it?

3  t-shirt ---> cardigan-type t-shirt in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by sahrahbobahrah on: February 19, 2008 05:42:02 PM
So, I totally stole this idea from this post: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=228308.0. Just thought I'd share my results!

I started out with this 75 cent t-shirt my mom bought during a massive Fourth of July sale at Target:

Snip, snip, sew! Came out with this.

One more action shot.

Sorry about the terrible Myspace-style mirror pictures, but I'm terrible with the self timer on my camera. Enjoy!

4  beaded owl! in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by sahrahbobahrah on: January 17, 2008 02:15:41 PM
I wasn't sure which forum to post this in....so I'm just dumping it in with all the clothing recons! Anyways, for my sister's birthday, I updated a plain black shirt by adding a little beaded owl in the bottom right corner. It's not much, but she does love owls (you should see her collection of owl jewelry), and it's cute!

There's the whole shirt. It was just a plain shirt from Target. You can kinda see the owl in the corner all glittery.

And there's the owl itself. Sorry about the blurryness. I uses some green glass beads from Jo Ann's.

This is the little clip art owl I used as my stencil.

Comments/criticism appreciated!

5  a lazy girl's idea of a bag in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by sahrahbobahrah on: November 20, 2007 04:18:44 PM
Hmm....so I got this idea when I was browsing the Web this weekend.

It looks like a tank top, yes?

Careful, my friends, there is more than meets the eye.

Gasp! Why yes indeed, it holds stuff!

And here's two of it in action!
