1  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Martha Stewart Dish Towel Purse on: August 16, 2007 09:22:52 PM
Okay, I'm new at posting, so let's see if this works...

I found a bundle of Martha towels at K-Mart on clearance, 5 for $4.00 and bought them because I loved the colors and prints.  I made a purse for my 13 year old daughter and she actually carries it to school!  She usually turns up her nose at my creations!

I used 3 towels for the purse, lining, handles, a large outside pocket, and 2 inside pockets.  With the other 2 towels I made a smaller purse for myself.  I've never had this much fun with kitchen towels before...ha!ha!!
